He doesn't have the internet? O.o Although my suggestion is Live for Speed - Online racing simulator. You can play it on or offline mode, theres only the demo version (or you pay) there may be some *cough theres a crack to unlock all cars and tracks in the game cough* way of getting around the payment option. But even the demo is really good fun, it's a drifting game and quite addictive.
