first of all clear it what u want to ask .........
and stick some pic.of your desktop when your server will run..
1) check your FTP server logs first. adjust security as necesary.
2) try to connect using the standar FTP client. (the one that comes with every windows, and its console based). If you can connect using anonymous user, you are OK with your server and your updater should work.
