Mangos x Kobold V2

I Would like to know what is diferent between then and witch one is better.

There is a BIG difference between the two. For one, MangOS is open-source, while Kobold is closed-source. Also, Kobold is a lot more stable and correct than MangOS and (though the mangos team are working on that ^,~), but the DBs for MangOS are exceptionally better than those for Luddy (Kobold). As to which one is better, that's something you're gonna have to decide on your own.

Is kobold alot more stable? how do you know?

With 50 players mangos stays online for 8+ hours. With kobold for maybe a day or more.... but!
Mangos with 160 players online still has 5 hours uptime. With kobold you will never no.

Mangos core is now imo better than kobold. It has just as much stuff working PLUS you get about 5 updates a day.... with kobold you get about 5 updates a year.

Also mangos has a AWSOME database which makes gameplay feel almost blizz like. On the other hand kobold has a crappy in development database with ALOT missing.

So conclusion is from me after running both..... mangos by far!

For Me, I found Luddy to be ALOT more bizlike, the essentials worked tons better than Mangos, though sadly, Luddy does take a long time to load comparded to mangos, and is a lil more hard to setup, In luddy the Gm commands werent exactly user frendly again comparing to mangos, and doesnt have much support

so even though kobold is Better in stability and functionaltiy, its not userfriendly to my standards. oh and lots of map triggers didnt work in kobold, that was the main annoyance for me and really the only 1 of the 2 reasons i went to MaNGOS

I'm for updatedness, so MaNGOS all the way.

MaNGOS or LUD? well that questions has been asked many times here already, try the search and see.

As for me my answer will always remain the same, after having tried both emu's MaNGOS still wins, no contest. Open source VS Closed source, Updates VS lack of virtually any updates.
