Doh, it's not right. You screwed it up.
Just open man01.xml and make <add parts="partsXX" file="man-parts_gm.elu">
Then get the mesh from it (that I won't say how to do, cause I worked hard to realise it) and put in ZItem. It's not right :P

Just add the parts into your man01.xml and then edit your zitem. The meshname for the coat is eq_chest_gm .

You can reedit it to the stats you like...
I did it, following the Staff Jacket but instead of adding +15 HP, I put +10 HP and extra +5 AP.
And it looks like a bullet proof armour dont cha think? :)
the real mess name is chest_gm. With the eq_ it wont work.
But mine's eq_chest_gm o_O And it worked -.-
i think i have an other elu file, the most elu files is have are eq_chest but only the gm isn't
