I love it when everytime I get so much into a game and beat the game they release an expansion for it. Just found out about Shivering Isles a day ago, ever since then, googled for images, searched in youtube for videos and what not.

I actually got Oblivion not too long ago and i'm trying to do as much as possible in it before shivering ilses comes out so i'm ready for the expansion.
Blah... Don't like how it's just downloadable. You do realize that you'll be loosing 1-3gbs of HDD space for it. And it's not like we can avoid it. Oblivion just is so kick ass and we must eat the space just to experience the new stuff. O.O

Ever since I found out the news about the expansion, I have been playing Oblivion like crazy. I have played 108 hours, 2 weeks ago I had 45 hours. So do the math. Anyways, I completed alll the major quests, achievements for 360 which includes main questline, guilds etc. Finished all the side quests in each city. Completed all Daedric Shrine quests, long time ago. Now simply exploring and trying to max out my skills. 8 are mastered so far.
I personally don't care about the space. I have 12 GB still free as I deleted all the useless stuff. And I got two Memory Unit as well. The only thing that I wanna hear is Oblivion being Live, I was dissapointed the first time when they failed to make it Live, hopefully 360 will be given as much attention as PC with more updates etc.
finally time 2 get my ownage character out of newbish daedric armour and into some new crazy shit ^^
Would you not ratherplay shivering isles with slightly weaker character to get some challenge out of it?Quote:

Some reason i didn't enjoy oblivion, all i really do at the moment is break into people's houses and kill them in their sleeps.
I do that, but as soon as the game comes out, I get paid to write a Walkthrough (Game Guide). Usually ruins the game story for me but also gives me a head start.Quote:

Shivering Isles is an expansion back for Oblivion. So it's the same game but with new extra stuff added to it.

Just like any other expansion, Shivering Isles has many features. Shivering Isles has new armors, weapons and items added. It is sad to hear that only 2-3 new skills were added. For people who like doing alchemy hundreds of new ingredients are avialable. Shivering Isles also has a questline unlike other expansions. It is about 30-40 hours long depending if you just focus on it then other quests. Several new NPC's and preety much everything plus more then Oblivion.
