I'm an american.....tony blair means nothing to me...surprised?
and....not really that funny either man.
i didnt find that funny at all :S
borat was good as well.
lol.. that was good :D
only the british would find this funny tbh, american comedy is sooooo crap, just take a look at most of their comedy programs!
Americans don't have comedy powamonger, what they have is soaps where people insult eachother and a lot'a people in the public laughing at it
Though I'm not british I did find the clip quite good, got to love the british sense of humor.. :icon6:
our kind of homour is unique, its abit like marmite - you love it or hate it. americans do have comedy, take for instance jackass! which probably came about due to our generation. American comedy does come in the form of soap which imo is aimed at the older generation of people, which is probs why i hate it even tho im 22.
british humour ftw!!! americans have no good comedy at all, ''everybody loves raymond'' is about the best.
That was good. We are always using that 'Am I bothered?' look in our family, we even have little Casey doing to too XD
I saw Tony Blair last Thursday, didn't really speak to him but he was only a few feet from me. He has a brilliant sense of humour O.O
I didn't find it funny, guess that it was true what powamonger says about only british would find it funny :p
i think its due to the fact that our culture is soo different from the norm, take london for instance must have 100+ different cultures into one.
And our whole *its not my problem* syndrome our entire population suffers from.
2 people having sex in public, we will totaly ignore to the point they arnt even there anymore. If someone starts up a cigerette in a room, the ammount of glares and coughs that insue is brilliant lol
comedy.....I look for movies when I think of comedy (and stuff like the Johnny Carson show...which I doubt most of you guys know who that is, British or not) like Monty Python's (British :P) and The Naked Gun series (which is so damn funny). I don't watch comedy shows on television, mainly because I don't watch what I don't laugh with....spongebob usually gets me going though.
yep thats exactly how we are, british folks are supposed to be a grumpy lot, we never say hi to eachother, not much common curtisy (well between fellow english men yes), its all these foreigners (no offence) thats making britain such a crap " its not my problem" community.
It's not crap, I see loads of happy cheery people all the time. It's the old folks you should worry about
They the grumpy lot, they always have something to complain about, it's gets really annoying sometimes. Where I used to live most if not all people have manners and curtsey. The City to watch out for in Britain is London, there is a lot of people down there who act like the world owes them something and have little manners. *not aiming at anyone here btw, it's just how I've seen it so far =/*
