manually adding 120 cap?
i looked for a full guide, but the only thing to turn up was some of the exp table. i have the full exp table and all the necessary programs, but i dont know what else to modify in the server exe except the table. im wondering if any of the guys who have done the lvl cap editing themselves could post a quick guide? im quite familiar with editing the exe, but not how the experience works... thanks for any assistance...

Theres a guide somewhere in the last 2 months for enabling the level cap to 120.

i found 2 threads. One where someone posted part of the EXP table, and another where people discussed adding the levels to the server .exe... But there was no actual guide, just some discussion on what might have to be done to add the cap, but nothing on how to actually do it. :(

The same checksum is listed 2 times. Are there 3 or 4 checksums to be removed? It seems like one is missing because the same one 004A1AE was listed twice...

He is Ex-Developer of CelesPT, he prolly knows but doesn't want his Network to lose it's value due to other servers having what he has already.

try the word "level" and go thru some of the threads. there are at least 2 with lvl 120 cap server exe's posted. plus some of the newer stuff like lost temple or 105b items...

All those exe's have 119 cap, and 105b isn't a real item set. Its rPT items replacing low level items.

yeah obviously its not a real item. :P and the lvl cap can be increased past 120.

Of course it can, but its not like anyone will, 120 alone is a mind boggling amount of EXP to get.

well considering that pt players never stop playing, and that servers are 60x or higher... what lvls are people in rpt now? 116? 117? and it's been only 7 or 8 months! ept has been online for years and years. imagine where these players on rpt will be in years and years? probably up and beyond lvl 130... and of course devs can keep making new items and selling them for $100 or more, so there will always be some profit.

He posted a updated KptServerV2, but the cap was infact 119, 120 would make you D/C and crash.
@ Mr Bubbles, Years and years? PT will be a dead game within a year and a half lol

official pt (like ept) will probably be dead. but why?... because of private servers... rpt will not be dead, and some other priv servers will also still be online. private pt admins are selling items, etc, so they always have more interest in improving the server. plus they know how to add custom things now, obviously... its only a matter of time until they start making their own maps and monsters! so ept died because it got boring with nothing new... but private pt will always have new stuff. and since the lvl limit can expand to infinite... maybe 255 or 65535 is the highest it can go? the admins always have a way to make money, the players always get new features. seems like an ideal mmorpg to me.

Nope, a properly working 120 client was never leaked here. Maybe it got leaked in the mcmadness repack but those were a bit to old, so I doubt it. There are clients floating around with 119 working tho.

there are 2 references need to be changed to get lvl 120 working (with that lvl 119 version) and i think everyone here know what they have to do

Extend gfantasy section and copy the new exp table... Yes, you are right. Everyone here know what to do but 99% dont know "how" to do it. For example, where is the absolute adress of start exp table? who knows? I dont know. A little tip will be very appreciated. Thanks.
