I want to know if there is a way to increase a specific item drop rate on a specific map? If there is a way, can you please point me to a short guide or post one up here?

Uh, no. Manually only.
What do you mean manually? If there is a process to do this manually, please enlighten me ^^
Sharing is caring lol :)
Manuel as in go in the monsters .inf file and up the rates one by one lol.
I know I saw an Item list by code around here somewhere.
Is there a tool to manipulate the ini files? Most of it is encoded and don't really understand what I am looking at. I can figure out most of it. Just was wondering.
I can develop a tool to edit the monster.ini crap if someone can help me understand the ini files. Thanks.
Mmm you can understand the .ini and .inf files pretty fast if you play around with them for a while, matter a fact I think theres a couple translated diagrams around here explaining what every line does.
Can you help me with a list of tags that will lead me in the right direction? I have searched this forum and can't find any diagrams that describe how the ini and inf files work. You are right if I do play around with them enough I will learn to understand them. Just wanted to see if anyone else has described it so that I have a better understanding first off when messing with the files.
there is a monster drop and gold fixer here it is add it in monster file and increase drop by X (any value you want)
recomanded back up as it always do duplicate the points
*Cridits to QuantumFusion for the file

GoodLuck
yes but what if his drop rate is decent on some monsters.
this will make it explode
Yeah I just want a tool that can modify each file, similar to the NPC editor where you can edit each NPC, but for monsters and their drop rate and what they drop.
well i will tell you there is no tool.
open the monster file scroll all the way down
and u will see alot of codes lik wh121 for example.
all those is what it drops.
at the beginning of each line u will have a number like 423 thats the drop rate.
and att he beginning of the whole section there will be a line like 4352
and i think thats the overall drop rate.
not too sure on this
hmm good explanation im gonna make a hoppy drop parmor lol.
