Halo 2 for Vista will be out in May 8th 2007. For more information on it you can always check Bungies forums. Got the date from here.
theres achievements for the PC version I know but will there be an update giving Halo 2 for the 360 achievements too?
Halo 2 is done with. It was never meant for 360 therefore we'll never have achievements for it. None of the original Xbox game do. Besides you think anyone will still play Halo 2 when Halo 3 comes out? Before they even give achievements they should at least fix so that we can see our Profile Board while playing Halo 2.
Yea i expected that Halo2 wouldn't have achievements pretty much for the reasons you outlined. oh well i still hoped. But yea once Halo 3 comes Halo 2 will only be played by people new to Halo and then that would only be storyline not multi. The death of Halo 2 approaches and the glorious birth of Halo 3 does as well. Can't wait.

They are just using it as a way to force people to either get Vista to play it or actually submit and get the xbox version.
Would have been worth it if they revamped the graphics system and made full use of DX10, but no. It's just using the basic DX9 graphics sub system that the xbox version used. :cry:

This is going to be preety much a way to get more money dam microsoft smart asses :P but orginal halo is for the pc and people still play that halo 2 will nto die for a while since halo is still alive :P.
Meh, gonna be accurate, but then again theres already attachments to hookup a mouse & keyboard to a 360.
On 360 could I just put my mouse & keyboard in usb and Halo 2 would work? I tried with Gears but no luck :(Quote:

People are gonna go nuts with that game, imagine modding the shotgun ..baby ^_^ or the warthog :dance:
no mods i download them then automatically get rid of them so no mods for me :P
