I need some help with something....when I start the game, I go through all of the handshaking and crap. But when I get to the realm list I choose World of Warcraft ( My server name) and it just tells me "Logging in to game server". Any ideas on why I can't connect?

I am having the same problem using Mangos 2.0.10 with a client build of 2.0.10 (6448) release.
My BC client accepts my username and password and then goes to the realms selection list. I select my realm, easy being it is the only one that shows up, and then the client tries to connect but then kicks me back to the realms selection window. and the loop begins.
I ran through the Mangos 2.0.10 setup guide and both my realms and Mangos seem to be running. none of the logs that i have found give me any hint of an answer, but I have only seen the realms and mangos server logs.
I am sure that I am missing something really small and stupid so if anyone can give me a hint I would greatly appreciate it.
Okay it took a little digging through the forum and trying out several suggestions but I managed to figure out what my problem was.
In the Realmd_bc SQL database under the Realmslist, I had my servers IP address as 127.0.0.1. I set this to the actual IP address assigned to my NIC, restarted the Mangos services and I was able to connect.

i tried this but it didnt work i hav the sql realmlist right the relmlist right the conf files right wat else do i hav to change?
i got the same issue when i tried to my my server "public'. people outside could connect but i'd get bounced back to the realm selection screen.
i think it's my crappy router.
anyhow i created a 2nd realm with realm address set to 127.0.0.1 and it worked. people would connect to my normal realm and i'd connect to the 2nd one and both would be linked.
