I gotta say thanks for the guide Im glad I finally found a private PT server guide :)
I got it all up and working no problem.....but, How do the accounts work, like if my friends wanted to play? Currently Im downloading PT english v3096 which will be done when I get back from school so I wont reply back for 2 or 3 hours. I also am downloading jpt's GM client, but how would I make a GM account?

GM account is a normal account
GM enter with hotuk of gm this diff gm of normal players
To make it a "GM" account you have to add it to *DEBGUG_ID and use a GM Hotuk Client Side.
Easy way to get your friends accounts made would be to use a reg script (Refer to RFT thread)
don`t forget about IP thingy in hotuk.ini ... or else... d/c :(

*DEBUG_IP isn't a needed command, its optional for increased security.
I believe that function is used when the user has an unrecognized client that would normally be disconnected if not listed ^^ Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
*DEBUG_IP is used when you require all GM logins to be on a accepted IP list, if it is disabled any account from any computer under the *DEBUG_ID list has access to login to the server, but still requires knowing the admin name and password to get elevated access beyond level 1.
*DEBUG_ID has no real function, as also if you login with a different account and enter the gm pass will give you all admin privlages, the most important are the ip commands

Uh, no function? *DEBUG_ID is the used to allow accounts to login window mode and enter GM passwords. The IP commands mean nothing since they are optional, the GM password isn't the greatest of idea's because 1.) Maybe you don't want a GM having access to everyone's account and 2.) If someone were to guess that password they could go on a robbing spree through peoples accounts. Your best bet would be to use *DEBUG_ID and *DEBUG_IP together for the best security. Also enable a couple of the CL commands.
