Mangos Help! Please!

Hi! I am currently creating a private server. I was following a guide and it says to edit
mangosd
and
realmd
but when i open these they close automatically so i cant edit please help!

check the server.log and if it's a maps problem, i have the same and can't help you

pff... just check or you have the maps in the right folder or that you have to maps of that rev

It seems can't connect to DB.
Check the password for user root, and check the db's name.

You are editing the mangosd.CONF and realmd.CONF are'nt you? It looks like you are trying to edit the .exe files....sorry if this isn't the case.
