In all honesty rape these days really seems to be all the same, generaly rappers rap about there life, and how hard they had it growing up etc etc. I listen to quite abit of rap but don't follow it religiously so i could be wrong but its my opinion.

Anywho I'd say Jay-Z.

Nas is my favourite. KRS-One following closely. Then Rakim.

At this point most modern rap is a joke, I heard that song "Throw some D's" or what the hell ever its called the other day and just gave up on rap, that man can't even pronounce the "Ah" sound, so the word Cadillac becomes "Cadilick".

Rap sucks.

Yeppy but if I had to choose then I'd go for Ludacris w/d MC Vikram. They atleast funny. Spare the rap - we can diss them off.

Although if you think about it rap talks about the same thing all other music genres talk about now, Sex, Drugs, and life or some variation of them, just with much more profanity in between.

id say its Snoop Dog and Eminem... they all made history

Origionality wise, I woudl say Eminem, always loved his music videos, and his songs are good to sing to, and even bette rto listen to.. you can actually understand what he is saying..!
