All ini's, txt's are set fine...
as you can see, there is no ERROR found... My problem is after selecting character pressing START to get in the game nothing happens after pressing START, my screen is black out but i can see my mouse moving around the black screen are.
I can't get thru ingame after pressing START.
anyone know about this?

make sure ur server name is all the same (case Sensitive)
the ini files that have an ip of 0.0.0.0 keep like that
make sure ur using correct client, same as the 1 in m2server file
make sure u have all 3 ip same in mir2.ini in client side

all server name are correct, i leave 0.0.0.0 as like before, im using latest mir2.exe which came from update mir2.exe [1.62mb] and the ini file with ip 127.0.0.1, i also disable my UPNP and firewall, all IP's configured correctly as the guide said... I can run the server without the update and i can play in my server if there is no update files. but when i try to update the server file i can't get in the game... i use all the update files as the guide said. the server side seems ok no problem as i can see because i can do the following:
Login username and password.
Select Server.
I can create 3 characters and its all there.
But when i select any character and press START, the Welcome Note doesn't appear.
Only black screen appeared, i can move my crosshair anywhere and i can do ALT+TAB.
My PC Specs:
3.2Ghz
512MB Into 3D
1G DDR533
120gigabytes Seagate
what else i didn't mention?

i change all ip addresses to whatever it suppose to be. there is 1 that is the rungate/gamegate who's quad is set yo 0.0.0.0, i had similar problem and cha nged that to correct ip quad as well.
BUT there is one 'monport' i believe, leave that as i dont think there is a mon-server!!
Another common problem, third time, so must be one thats missed!!
in the origianl file config the server path was mirclient/mir200/ (or something very close), the structure now is m2server. if you leave it as is and havent checked (i think its in the dbserver files) ytou wont get very far.
Worth looking for these incase you want to move your server to a drive/partition other that c:
Also make sure that your server id=0 in the setup.txt, or that it matches the id its set to. should be 0.
can't find any /mir200/ and also my server id=0
your server id spose to be 0 from hat im aware
and your mir200 doler is your m2server folder i think it just uses mir200 for that folder name not sure tho mine is set to mir200 and mine works
Okay, Im using m2server folder as i can see all path name and directories are okay, all ip's set to 127.0.0.1, server id=0 is set to 0, still i can't play.
I can login.
I can select server.
I can create character.
When select character and press START it goes to black screen no Welcome Note appear.
what is in your gamegate config.ini?, and is the program you run in that folder.. gamegate, or rungate
I usually run GameGate.exe than RunGate.exe but indeed i tried that before using RunGate.exe coz it is the update that have in TD's update file but still same problem.Quote:

you should be using rungate, not game gate, the latest rungate is dated 16/04/07 and its size is 1410kb,
when was the last time you downloaded the latest exe's and used every exe in that file,, not just some. you need to use all 7 of the latest exes,,
Indeed i tried to use RunGate.exe also but still the same problem i had.
My RunGate.exe is 1.37mb also dated 04/16/07
Now can i ask if the GateAddr=0.0.0.0 shoud be like that?
Im also running all 8 exe's because there is another new 1 added right? the Guild Convertor.exe? so thats why i run totaly 8 exe's
guild convertor only needs running once,, not every time,, once it has ran and said ok,, thats it,, it has copied files over i believe. I know when running server and a client on my home pc,, it takes quite a few seconds for the welcome "OK" screen to appear, before getting into the game, and sometimes doesnt, i have to tab out close mir program down and try again.. from your screenshots, everything looks fine :(,, im stuck
