[360]Halo 3 Beta

2 days till its released over here, dunno if its the same date over in the states but i cannot wait to play it!

TOR on its way to the beta. Can't wait for it.

The date is same for people in UK and U.S. :P I got crackdown with the access to beta. It better be worth all the hype it has created.

Not coming to my country for quite sometime now. I guess I'll get it when cousins are droppin by.

But will get it for sure. It's gonna be great.

Aye can't wait, gonna finish my exam and then download it.

Soon as I get back on Wednesday which is going to be terrible until i get the Beta.

Hell, I'm not even leaving my house when I get it. Had the real game pre-ordered for months now.

lets hope the game play will be fine , but it looks that way

those r the next gen

u can really tell bungie cant do it whit out Microsoft
but off corse it's halo
and tons off ppl will buy it

but lets be honest it looks like a 2006 fps

how can there be a beta to a console game?

Erm, they roll out a demo to people and then close down the servers and issue a notice to everyone once the beta is over. Simple really :)

That month is going to be chaos any idea how big this beast is going to be to download as if its over 1gb then its going to take forever for people because the servers will be flooded with about 3million people ! Lucky for me I can get about 700kb/s :!

u can play exclusive demos in 360 unlike ps3 (waa just bought that) gold accounts...

well they can't really do much but improve the grpahics and add some features. It is a sequel not a whole new game

Are you dumb, or just plain stupid...

First off any video's you've seen is from a beta build...which means it isn't even close to being finished yet... Secondly Bungie has stated TUNS of times, that the multiplayer (which is all you've seen) will be like a new halo2... It's the Single player (campaign) that will blow you away...

crysis is a sequel of farcry.... they r using the new crytek engine (ok not story wise but that shouldent matter )
ut 3 is a sequel to.... using the ureal 3 engine

both have tons of new feature's
and graphic wise they r simply amazing

it looks like halo 3 is using the same engine as halo 2 only polished up a bit
it doesn't mean anything if it's a sequel or not

just go check out the halo 3 official forum , lots off ppl even call it a disgrace
now i wouldn't go that far , but for a game like halo ... and considering this is the final halo game
it doesn't look mind blowing at all

You HAVEN'T SEEN FINAL GAME FOOTAGE! god damnet.... All you've seen is Multiplayer footage. I go to bungie.net/1up.com/redvsblue daily, and read everything there is to know about it.

Stop trying to talk like you anything about it...Like bungie has said, "the campaign is what will look amazing."

Campaign graphics almost always look better then multiplayer graphics.

Check out all of the Splinter Cell / Rainbow Six / Halo games. Their campaign graphics where amazing, but the multiplayer graphics where still great, but not as great.

When playing a campaign you don't have to worry about network speeds and things like that, which means all the processor power can be focused on what is needed. More processor power means more/faster shaders/fillers/lighting effects, which is key too good graphics.

Has the beta started yet?

What the hell are you talking about, most of the time games perform better at nicer graphics and a better frame rate in single player because theres less to handle and process. I could go pop in my copy of Halo 2 right now and you'll never see campaign type graphics in a multilayer match.

Don't try to insult people while typing like a rabid MySpacer.

do u actually know anything about making game's?

anyway because they r using the same engine they cant make it look better in single player
what they can do is add a tree here and there
maybe add some grass there
but the engine is the same

none the less even if u were right ,wish u aren't this game is going to be good for its multi player
u get sick of single player after u finished it 2 time's anyway
