[Antrix] v2.0.12 RePack by DJRavine

Hello all...

Since the latest Antrix WoW emu has been released...
I thought i would throw together a quick repack..
This repack is using Antrix rev42 + scripts + maps...
And the database is NOW a Project Silvermoon DB Antirx Port...
all of which is freely available online if you know where to look...

Also i have included a PHP web reg pack... Antrix [RegPage].rar...
Very easy to setup... Just follow the included README.TXT...

Kudos to everyone at the antrix project and all associated groups...
Without all their hard pioneering work.. redesigning.. and dedication...
There would not be a wow emulation scene as diverse as we have today...

1. Ensure all these files and folders are in the current directory...
[Assume the current directory is 'C:/Antrix/']...

2. Create a new database on your SQL server call it 'antrix_server'...

3. Import the file '/sql/antrix.sql' into the 'antrix_server' database...

4. Open up antrix.conf file... and the enter your SQL server login infomation...

5. Open up logonserver.conf file... and the enter your SQL server login infomation...

6. Open up realms.conf file... you can modify the names if you like, not important tho...

7. Place the maps in the current directory...
[You can use the maps for the v2.0.12 MaNGOS servers]...

8. Load up logonserver.exe and antrix.exe... They should load and stay open...

9. Open up your SQL Server and create a new entry in the 'accounts' table...
Make sure you set the 'flags' field to '8'... or BC will not be enabled...

10. Set your clients realmlist to 127.0.0.1... Then connect ... Enjoy...

Uhm, anyone can go to the svn repository and download and compile.
DB is the silvermoon db.
Hardly see any leaked material here.

As an mather affect no leaked materials in it what so ever .
And besides that EP dont make the rules here as far as i know . I dont want to be ruth ofcorse but this is RageZone and not EP . As an mather affect the other DB he used was in nplain site on SVN so anyone could have took it . Now dont get me wrong i dont like it when people post it when it is not allowed by the author realy i dont . But i dont think an ban is apropiate on THIS forum what EP do on thers is up to them what RageZone mods do here is there thing .

I dont wane insult anybody with this but what people do on there forums is there busniss and not somone elses .

Now more to the point i agree bout the his forum add it sould be removed and not just that one ut evryones that do that simply becose it is against the forums poleci . And besides that is it not tru that RageZone as well as EP grown becose of leaked stuff etc and now when there is somthing leaked as they claim there own it is wrong ;)

Com on lets not act childish on this GREAT server and make it even bether .

As said b4 i hope i dint insult anyone but the hype over this is geting prety outta controll atm . Ass i understoot people even ddos one and easother over this and it realy is no need for that as that what was leaked is 3 months old and not compatble with the latest sorce .

What realy needs to be done is to make an good db team for it and develope either the original db espire have or make an new one .

QFT. One reason the Mangos team is still superior to the Antrix team is coz of the fact they're not currently acting like whiny little kids and requesting ppl be banned here and there. When you release something open source, what do you expect? The entire world will play along? Of course not, not everybody will do things the way you want.

It is getting out of control. We greatly thank the Antrix team for a downright amazing emulator, and even moreso for making it opensource. But all this crying and screaming over 'leaked dbs' needs to stop. Everyone just needs to accept it's happened, and trying to stop it propagating is like trying to stop piracy... Good freaking luck.

People flock to other forums coz it's hard to find friendly help on Emupedia, right now all i see there is an elitist 'better than thou' attitude, at least on the Antrix forums anyway. Until this whole whiny episode by the team stops, Mangos is going to still be better. The emu may not be as good but at least we don't see the team running around acting like kids.

Do antrix really need maps? since mine is working without maps :smilie4:

and this an edited one? since..rev42 and up are 2.1.0 Version right?

Djravine can you upload a Compilation without the maps if this is only 2.0.12

since 2.1.0 is somewhat buggy at this moment

guys one question..does Antrix rev42 and Up supports v2.0.12 TBC? since i know rev42 is for 2.1.0..well unless Djravine change something in the source then rev42 will STILL support 2.0.12

Tested this with revision v2.0.12 and works.
Havent seen any sideeffects of not using v2.1 yet.

Just compiled revision 54 of antrix, but seems the db structure has changed abit, and seems it doesnt support v2.0.12 anymore, locks up on loading maps from what i can see.

Checking it out, will post back later.

get rev 54 wirh lemons db and wow 2.1 and it works awesome. i had a 40 man pvp war on my server, and not a single person complained about lag.

hmm, where would i go about getting this lemons db?

been using and compiling mangos only, and only been using the sdb till now.

i just compiled rev 56 and its working nice. 42 and up is designed for 2.1 but you can have it accept 2.0.12 aswell by setting the build number in logonserver.conf, heck .. you could even be playing on the original beta like 0.3.6 if you knew its build number.

just set the logonserver.conf at this part...
and this will allow connections from all clients...
but i warn you now..
it will prolly be very buggy with other versions...

Doing this is a very bad idea. The realmlist protocol has changed in the past and now could change again. Accepting connections from a wide variety of clients will only cause problems.

i have let espire know about what happened previously...
and this is a new repack with a NEW DATABASE...
all versions of the previous repack have been destroyed...
and my website / dev team fully supports the antrix team...

so all im asking is why is everyone still got an issue...
i know emupedia only over the last few hours posted..
NO ANTRIX REPACKS... and i can comply with that...
so i only posted here.. and on my site... is that so bad...?

I tried to import the database using "phpmyadmin 2.10.1" but y could not because the importing file is too large

what do i use to import the database?

hi dj, thankx for the repack, im having a few probs getting it to run m8, the antix.exe terminates after it has finished loading, any pointers please

Try using a program called SQLyog. (google it). Use the community version, it's free and is awesome about importing very large sql files.

i recommend on getting rev 64+ however. alot more bug fixes have been done on core. and i use it and boy last night on my server was awesome huge pvp event of 60+ ppl in a huge ffa and no lag at all nor a crash. u guys have to find the forum im not fetching links. someone else can tho.

I'm using your Mangos v2.0.12 maps, and map discovery isn't working for me.
Anything i can do to try to fix it? I tried using maps i used for mangos that worked for it, but that didn't work either.

Antrix is a piece of OOPPSS ***** why that ?Well just try it and then we can laugh about it each other.I don't like Antrix for this moment
Maybe in 3-4 months it will be better one.
