Dragon Ball Online


(ドラゴンボールオンライン, Doragon Bōru Onrain?) (officially abbreviated as DBO) is a MMORPG being developed simultaneously in Japan and South Korea by NTL, based on the Dragon Ball manga and anime series. Series creator Akira Toriyama has a great deal of creative control over the project, both contributing to and supervising the story and art design, including character and location designs. Beta testing is scheduled to begin in Korea in the summer of 2007, and a release in Japan is expected in 2008.

Story

Dragon Ball Online is set in Age 1000, exactly 216 years after Son Goku left the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai to train Uub in Age 784. The player takes the role of one of the many warriors living in the Dragon Ball World, which are searching for the Dragon Balls, training to compete in the Tenkaichi Budokai, or aspiring to become like the warriors of legend. While training, the player senses a disaster strike the world.

The Earth is divided into pieces by a villainous organization known as the Dark Eye (闇の目玉, Yami no Medama?), which is lead by a mysterious individual. Receiving guidance from Time Patrol Trunks (タイム・パトロール・トランクス, Taimu Patorōru Torankusu?), the player sets out on a journey to defeat the mastermind and save the world, meeting other players along the way, and interacting with the denizens of the Dragon Ball World, including characters from the original series.

Features
Currently, there will be at least two playable races; Human and Namekian. players will be able to further customize their avatars with a variety of options, including hairstyles, colors, and clothing. Human players will begin their journey on Earth, recruited by Time Patrol Trunks to help save the world, while Namekians will begin on New Namek, guided by Saichoro to help those on Earth. Just like the humans , the saiyan will be started in Earth also. Players also have the option to start their journey as a child, allowing their character to age and grow into adulthood as they play the game, much like the main characters of the original series.

in 2 or 3 years mayb? they still need to launch the korean server + Bandai is also busy getting ready to launch SD Gundam online to japan...

Yup. It comes out for Japan in 2008. I can't wait. I'll be doing whatever it takes to play it in Japan until its released for North America..

Think it comes out in the US in 2008. I heard about this one already. It's a pretty sweet idea for an mmo. I'll play it for sure.

KSSN... I've passed many times :)
IP Blocks = for some ungodly reason. When they block American IP's they forget about us Canadians so we don't get blocked :)

Well their are dozen's of KSSN generators and lists so thats not a problem, and neither is proxying. But it makes your day so much easier to enjoy a game without having to work around security of sorts.

also they might add Cellphone vertifercation (duno if i spell right lol). and im pretty sure you'll need legal kssn + name. Also lets not talk about KSSn here coz it's illegal to give out n such...

lol the better bring out a englsih/US version i was born 2 play a DBZ online mmorpg :D

personally I like ESF (earth special forces). :D I used to play that all the time instead of actually playing CS (it's a mod), but hey a dbz mmo would be CRAZY

the korean beta hasnt even started yet -_-

high chance of F2P with cash shop anyway.
