[Appserv] Making a webserver with appserv

Hi, i wanna know how to create a web with appserv, like a muonline web because mi pc got formatted and now i tryied to download appserv but the version is much newer than the one i used i dont understand almost anything, specially phpMyAdmin because the version now is newer too (i used the 1.4 or 1.8 and now it is 2.5 :S). So i am asking for help please cos i'm trying to make a web based RPG, i have already got the files but the missing thing is hosting in (in my computer, obviously=)). The problem is that when i connect to the game it pops up a window and it says that the password introduced is incorrect and it cant connect, also i dk the phpMyAdmin default password, afeter formatting my pc i had a program to change that... it was i think something with MySQL.
PLEASE HELP!!!

If you are desperate use a package like XAMPP apache friends - xampp

Why don't you READ the documentation before coming to conclusions? Because it looks like you haven't.

On default, an AppServ's MySQL install does not have a password - just leave the box blank.

Otherwise, you're asked in the setup to provide a password, if you can't remember what you filled in there minutes earlier you're probably too stupid to run a webserver.

As for your topic: exactly what has this got to do with coding? Try reading the Section rules next time before posting!
