[TOOLS] NEW AntrixSE 2.1 - Server Editor and Account Manager
Well, I know that I posted the antrixse in another thread, but I am wanting to try and keep the tools together for antrix. I am sorry that I haven't worked much lately on either of the 2 programs (I have been sick), but I worked as much as I could on the AAM (Antrix Account Manager) to get it ready for release. Just to let people know before I start getting posts about it, it is not 100%, the update portion is not working properly yet. All other functions are working 100% though. I will try to add features to the antrixse that have been mentioned in another thread, but I am still not feeling well, and hate to say, will get to it when I have a chance.
For now though, I hope that these 2 tools that I present to you will be sufficient enough to help get your servers up and running and to help maintain them.
These 2 tools have now been placed together (the way that I envisioned it in the first place) and now the AntrixSE is at version 1.4 and the account manager is included as part of it. This way, people will not have to download multiple programs to do what this one program does.
What do I see for the next version of AntrixSE, an account/character backup/restore feature. Stay tuned for future releases.
As always, if you are having any problem with either of the tools, please let me know here and I will try to resolve them as fast as I can. If there is a feature that you would like added to AntrixSE, just mention it and I will think about it before telling you NO...just kidding :jester: . I am always open to suggestions for more features.
WOOT! The release of AntrixSE 2.0 is now out! I would like to thank all of those that have provided feedback (good and bad) because it helps to make a better program for all of us. All of the features that have been requested are now apart of the NEW AntrixSE 2.0!
AntrixSE 2.1, now includes a fix to have a level cap of 255 rather than just 70.
Hope this helps,
WyCKyD
P.S. Place the dll files in the same folder as the antrixse.exe file.

Re: [TOOLS] AntrixSE and AAM - Server Editor and Account Manager
I hope so as well. I am trying to work through being sick, but it is taking a lot out of me. So I do a little bit, then take a break and lay back down. Then frustration of not doing anything will get to me and I get up and do a little more. Hopefully, I will have the update working 100% soon.
Here to help,
WyCKyD

Re: [TOOLS] AntrixSE and AAM - Server Editor and Account Manager
do you have the .dll files in the same folder and also, make sure that the username, password, and the database are all correct before pressing the connect button.
Hope it helps,

btw what i must put in realmlist,i am a total noob i know but.... pls tell me....my ip?or local ip(127.0.0.1)?
-
Re: [TOOLS] AntrixSE and AAM - Server Editor and Account Manager
I would suggest to either put in your wan ip or if you are using a service such as no-ip, then place that address in your realmlist. Don't forget to include the ':8129' at the end of the address though.
Hope it helps,
WyCKyD

Thank you for the compliment, I do try to help people the best that I can. As far as your question, the first thing I would do would be to add 'LogonServer.RemotePassword = password' to all 3 of your .conf files. When I first start my antrix server, I start it by launching logonserver.exe first then I launch antrix.exe. When I launch logonserver.exe and before I launch antrix.exe I get that same screen. So, add that line to the 3 .conf files, launch your logonserver.exe, then launch antrix.exe when you see that screen that showed, and see if it doesn't start the server.
To get a static ip address for your server, try using a service such as no-ip.com. Google it and use the free service. The no-ip will give you a static address to your dynamic ip address assigned to you by the ISP.
Let me know if everything is working right.
Hope this helps,
WyCKyD

I have found that the best guide for creating and setting up a server is the guides from jerkstore and from Karnage. I myself used the jerkstore guide to setup my first antrix server. The best advice I can give would be this:
1) Read the guides
2) Re-read the guides
3) Start setting up the server
4) If you are unsure about something STOP and re-read the guides
5) Once you think you understand it, continue on
6) If you encounter a problem, do a search on RaGEZONE, the problem has most likely been answered by someone.
The reason I say this is because I know that a lot of people are anxious to setup their servers, and occasionally they will miss something in one of the steps. So, if they just stop and take a little bit of time to re-read and try to understand it a little better, then they will have fewer problems. Also, I think that for anyone that is really interested in setting up a server, they should take the little bit of extra time to try to learn as much as you can about it.
This is just my opinion, and mine only. But, I have found that it has helped me a lot when I setup a server.
Hope this helps,
WyCKyD

Re: [TOOLS] AntrixSE 1.4 Server Editor and Account Manager
Hey wyckyd i love server editor as it makes setting up a server so incredibly easy.
I do however have a few suggestions for it
1. It should automatically add the "LogonServer.RemotePassword = password" in all the .conf files because alot of people have a problem with it.
2. It would be nice if you could set more options in it like level cap.
3. When you set the database uname pass and name in antrix.conf it could set the same in the other two windows so you dont have to type it 3 times.
Also i saw some bug in it that didnt place the values in the correct place eg. this is how my .conf looked like after beeing set up by se:
PHP Code:
# Database Section
#
# Database.Host - The hostname that the database is located on
# Database.Username = root #Old one: - The username used for the mysql connection
# Database.Password = mypass #Old one: - The password used for the mysql connection
# Database.Name = antrix #Old one: - The database name
# Database.Port - Port that MySQL listens on. Usually 3306.
# Database.Type - Client to use. 1 = MySQL, 2 = PostgreSQL, 3 = Oracle 10g
#
Database.Hostname = host
Database.Username = username
Database.Password = passwd
Database.Name = database
Database.Port = 3306
Database.Type = 1
Keep up the good work
