[Tut] Making rs server

This is preety short im just here to tell you about making a server up and running!

First step. Get a no-ip

To get a no-ip which is an ip adress but its a copy of it so ppl cant hack ur computer, First goto www.no-ip.org. Then make an account, Then u goto create a server and chose server name blah blah blah.

Second step. Get a source

Well most of the sources are from donwloading stuff at front board, goto download list ( it is stickied ) Then click a source, some of them will probably work, some dont but dont get too worried. When it comes up with a link that says run or save, click save. Then goto the file u saved it in then open it up and extract it all to another file or the same one, then open that file and goto run.bat or runserver.bat and see if it comes up with

Starting ****scape 0.0.0.0:43594 <- or it maybe something else, that is the port for it. If it does work then goto http://www.moparscape.org/smf/index.php/topic,49747.0.html for mod taharoks ultimate compile and folo instructions.

Well thats it. I know it was short but its just a thing for sources.

This Is Too Unorthodox For Most First-Time Server Makers.... You Should Beef It Up With ACTUAL Directions. (Maybe Numbered...?)

ok so just to make this post helpful, and so people dont get miss guided, no-ip IS NOT A IP, or a copy ooof an ip. It dosent stop people from hacking your computer, in fact it makes it easier. A no-ip is a ip/domain pointer, if your isp gives you a dynamic ip (ie it changes everytime you connect to the net) then a no-ip basicaly let people connect to you computer anytime without needing to know the ip address. Everytime you connect to the internet, you computer sends a signal to no-ip telling it this is your new ip and then it updates its info so when someone goes to yourcomputer.no-ip.org it sends them to your current ip adress.

in future leave the guide makings to people who know SOMTHING, and can make a guide that isnt a complete waste of my time
