[Help] GunzDB already exists, Yet i already removed it.

Ok so im getting this error yet i know i already removed the old database. why does it continue to say the databse already exists when i try to use LG's server files?

Everytime i try to execute the same error over and over again.

Ive tried running it with an empty one and without one at all and still it claims i already have a gunzdb and keeps canceling.

Database 'GunZDB' already exists. Choose a different database name.
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.

How would i fix this so it would no longer give me that error. ive also tried uninstalling and re installing but it still claims i already have a gunzdb

del the db in mysql and ocbx

go to ur C:/program files/microsoft SQL server/MSSQL.1/MSSQL/DATA..... and in there should be all the databases. Delete all the ones to do with Gunz

im sorry to say but neither of these worked, it still claims i already have a gunzdb

I removed it from odbcad32 and from the data folder and still it says the gunzdb already exists.

There has to be something else im missing.

what i am thinking your trying restore a DB..and your not letting it over right...
or you have renamed your DB and thatr is why it is not working...
or somethink on the lines of that...

ok im using LGGunZ_Server_Files_FINAL__6.10.2007_ the database in there anyways.

everything is deleted (( all the files are gone and the server does not exist on sql viewer thing))

i right click on "databse" and click create new databse. i type GunzDB and press ok.

Ok after that i open the database inside LGGunZ_Server_Files_FINAL__6.10.2007_


after that it puts it in a query, i execute the query and let it do it's thing i do not stop it at all. it stops on it's own about a split second later and says there is already a GunzDB. i delete the empty GunzDB i made just a second ago and try to execute the query again. this time it says the database does not exist and it can't modify something that does not exist.

I tried using my old databse from a long time ago and it worked just fine the problem with my old databse is that i have no clue how to connect to my server with it. i mean i don't know what to change in the client because when i change the ip in the config file it still connects to LGgunz even thought the ip is 127.0.0.1

There was only one time i could ever get a server running and that was when the server files first came out and were all buggy. now when i try to run server the server just keep shutting down every few minutes or the client doesn't connect. im thinking of blaming all on my machine thought because before my machine worked just fine but recently it's been having all sorts of errors from software to hardware everything from the hardrive failing to the piece of junk crashing over and over again for no real reason.

In short i think i need a new computer in order to run a server again.

Aha lg Gunz server 2007 i had the similar problems with.. i dont think its worth using that one. just use july server. its way easier
