It will definetly be interesting to see where Sony stands 1 year from now, i know it's pretty much impossible for them to do what they did with the PS2, it just beat the crap out of the Xbox and Gamecube, but the Wii has something new, and the 360 got a big headstart (unlike with the Xbox) and some great titles. If Sony can drop the price enough, and get some great titles, then they can catch up on the 360, but it can never truely beat it, it's just impossible, there are to many 360 users, and it keeps growing at a steady rate.
For now the only SOny products that i will be using are the PSP and PS2, i will buy the PS3 no earlier then a year, and probably not even then.

Still, $500 for a game system is ridiculous. You use it for a couple of years until the PS4 comes out which will cost something like $1,200. Stupid.
Maybe, you gotta remember that the person that created Final Fantasy left Square Enix 2 years ago and started his own company called Mistwalker, which is making 2 exclusive RPG's for the Xbox 360, one being Blue Dragon, which really can be seen as the spiritual successor.Quote:

Besides while Final Fantasy is a big and important title, it won't bring PS3 just back in the race, it needs a lot more for that, and it has lost a great deal of titles, and games like GTA they always had deals to have it released first on the PS2, now GTA 4 will come out on the same day on the 360, and Microsoft paid a lot of money to get exclusive content (like extra storylines and stuff)
Microsoft is paying a lot of money for exclusives, and they're getting it, all the while Sony is losing them.

That's nonsense, Sony needs a whole lot more then that, first of all the price of 600 dollars/euro turns off a lot of people, and then to have 2 great titles for them is not enough, that would average you 360 euro a game. Sony needs like 5 great titles for every person, obviously not everyone likes the same game, so they will need like 8 top titles.
I know, is just an example. What I meaned is that Sony just need a few games to make greats sales. Not a whole list of titles.

Does PS3's have alot of problems like PS2's do? I haven't seen many complaints about it yet.
My first 2 PS2's died in a month. The first one wouldn't even read blue back disk...brand new. My third one lasted a little over a year, with having to take it apart and clean the lens at least once a month. Now it barely plays anything, load times are very slow, so i eventually had enough, and kick the shit out of it, and threw it in the back bedroom of my house :P Never have to look at it again.
I just wander if PS3's are junk too.
nah man u get what you pay for. like Xbox 360 (red light of death / scratches its own games / OS errors) the PS3 hasnt had any problems yet cept for upscaling PS2 games but they fixed it.Quote:
