Gears of War coming to PC

The original video got pulled, but as always someone managed to save it and post it to YouTube. Very poor image quality, but some things can be seen from it. Apparently footage looks like its from a PC version. You can check it out here.

As we all know, Games for Windows Live titles are always Vista exclusive, or more commonly known as "Buy Vista if you want to play this game", and Microsoft will continue to do it. All those that are still on XP will have to wait for someone to "fix" this game so it will work under XP, just like Shadowrun and Halo 2.

playing it on a pc is more expensive than playing it on 360 >.> stick with 360 mate...

On the pc, that's gay because you have to use key board and mouse!

I have some serious doubts that they will do this, especially since the game is branded Only on Xbox 360. Then again Halo and Halo 2 are also branded...

There will however be a GoW 2, perhaps they will release that on the PC.

I saw a ideo of it and they added more sroty mode to it and new levels for online play, They might realese an update for that on the 360, I'm Not sure and I hope they realese the update for the 360

Rather by it for 360.. least you know you won't have lag

How does keyboard and mouse constitute the definition of gay?

I tell ya, there's nothing like good old fashioned game play using a stick to aim. Might as well use toggle switches.

It will be just like shadowrun works for pc probably but require an even better system. 1/10 vista pcs that have the reccomended specs CAN play it and even then it still has serious bugs. Console to pc ports never work out well :S Also playing with the sticks is what makes it so hard. Its also next to impossible to cheat on consoles.

that would be pretty sweet if came out on PC but GG graphics card lol

Oh did you also replace the steering wheel in your car with a pair of plyers? I'm sure that will make driving a challenge too!

I do agree however that most if not all ports to pc suck. I can play Lost Chaos pretty well however under vista x64 without a problem yet. Infact the biggest problem so far with that game is the company keeps printing off mis-prints of cd keys on the back of the cases!

FFS How did you know...It's not my car its a friends err.. nvm lol. The thing is that if you can master the sticks in a fps then you've got a huge edge in gaming. Anyone can be master of a mouse and then again with pc is usually about who has the better hardware an average gamer with say a $2000 system top of the line headset/mouse would rape even an expert gamer with a ball mouse on games like css and bf.
