[HELP] 1.03N Perfecting the server Files

I figured I'd post this in the HELP section until it's ready for release section.

I'm on a mission, I downloaded 1.03N repack, which really is a mixture of 99.6, 1.00.8 or something, and 1.00.16 -- I love the files, and since I originally downloaded they're gone. I'm starting to understand the files a lot better, but still have a long long way to go. lol.

The following are the remaining problems I'm still working on, and how I "think" I'm going to fix it.

1. BloodCastle -- no archangle, and when I put him there, the server crashes at the end of Blood Castle -- It seems like an event setting, because it only happens when he is clicked, at the end of the event. So I guess I'm going to compare my commonserv.cfg files with my older versions and see what looks different -- I haven't gotten there yet, and if anyone has an answer, that would be cool.

2. Chaos Castle -- ^^ I've changed the setting for the number of users to 1, and it didn't work, then changed it to 0 thinking it may be a switch, but still, I have to have 2 people for CC. Obviously there's another file controlling this, I'm thinking there's a ChaosCastle.dat

3. CryWolf -- event works great, there's nothing cooler than the first time you get an event like this to work. TY to everyone at RZ, I was able to get it to work by copying into my event gameserver data folder, someone elses 1.02N files. Now it works great, but is in Korean. I know this is the message_kor.wtf file, I downloaded ANOTHER translated one (Ive done this twice now and both times it was translated, but then CW wouldnt work) I'm nervous to change it again, I'm going to try again this weekend, but if it doesn't work I'll have to try my hand at translating.

which brings me to...

4. Casle Siege: wow, this is cool -- kind of^^ It works I guess, the GS never crashes, all the weapons work, and special skills, but 2 problems.
a. You can't enter the tower with the Senior NPC except during siege
b. The attacking guild gets all in place to push the switches and release the shield, and when they push the switch -- they are dc -- no one else, just them^^ and they can log right back in, but the button was never pushed -- and the log shows no error. Only shows the button being pushed, and the user logging off.
**This I'm hoping will be corrected when I find, or translate, the message file. I guess at least at that point maybe we'll see an english message explaining something.

Let me know if anyone see's where I'm going with any of these, and thinks there's a better way....other than switching files, that's not going to happen. I like these files, and after moving from 1.02Q to 1.02N to these, I've decided I'm staying until I know, really KNOW what the heck each and every file does.

I'm a novice programmer, and I'm even going to start seeing if I can understand some of this code (hope it's in vb, or c++ since that's what I just installed, actually the .net studio)-- again, any help there would be great too :)

If anyone has found any other problems and known fixes (with 1.03N, 1.02N or 1.02Q -- because even though the file names are a little different, the method's are usually the same), please post them here.

Owning and administrating a server / forum is cool. I love it, it's a lot more work than some lead you to believe, but it's great, and the rewards are great -- not money lol, I won't take money -- the fun is watching others talk about YOUR server, and telling their friends a whole continent away. I honestly believe I'll have MU server's until I die^^ yep, I'll be the first 120 year old admin hahaha

My goal is to have a complete e-book along with a server release.

I'm trying to put together a complete how-to guide in an indexed format, covering everything I can imagine about installing, upgrading, trouble shooting, and running a server. It's not copied text, but the references will credit all the sources of my information. Any help you can offer would be cool.
