RecvMsg 64, 72, 73

OK, well unless I'm retarded, which I probably am... I'm getting a "Cannot connect to server" error. I'm using the BNF repack. Then when I check in on the Server monitor, I see under recvmsg, the numbers 64, 72, and 73 being rotated.

Lol I just checked back and it says 8 users are online.

Here's what I've done:
1. Set up my ODBC services and made sure they're running. Data source tested and has a good connection.
2. Set up my SQL DB's and made sure that service is running.
3. Run 'XPT1855-HH-Edition-Beta1.exe'
4. Changed registry.
5. Changed Hotuk.ini (server-side) All IPs are now 127.0.0.1
6. Change ldata.bmp (client-side) All IPs are now 127.0.0.1
7. I even tried turning off firewalls and setting my LAN IP to DMZ mode (all ports forwarded) and these shouldn't even be necessary.

Also, my friend is having the exact same problem.

Edit: BTW, the database and everything is working properly. Characters can be edited, added, etc.

emm.. why did you edit the ips to 127.0.0.1? edit the ips in server side hotuk to the ip that showing here: WhatIsMyIP.com

Because... 127.0.0.1 is localhost. I'm just testing on my computer. What you're telling me to do is to set my server to WAN, which considering I have all my ports forwarded is unsafe and because I don't want other people to be able to play.

i'm having the same probelm with setting up my server too even with lan.

I just recived the message 83 and 75 too

which is ur problem?

"Unable to Connect"... Just thought those recvmessages had something to do with it.

Unable is some wrong configuration or modem door blocked. Recv msg have nothing related to it.

if you make ODBC, rename sql.dll
if u use sql.dll, delet odbc end edit "day ip" os 127.0.0.1 in sql.dll

I dont use SQl.dll. and im Using ODBC, yet the problem still occurs

Any pro server helpers that can help us? :D

Theres somthing seriously wrong wiht mine, i did everyhting correctly, XTTX got his to work then he tried to help me directly, and yet it still doenst connect. Is there anyone that can help me please?
