[Tut] How to make a server

Here's my in depth guide into making a server, enjoy!

1.Go to No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP and register for an account, and once logged into no-ip.com, there should be a side menu, and it should be open to Hosts / Redirects, and under that category, choose Add. Then when you're on the Add Host page, type the name of your server in the Hostname box, then in the drop down list, select what you want your no-ip address to be, (ie:no-ip.biz) and then where it says IP address, type in your Hamachi IP and then just click Create Host, and you're done with No-Ip.

2.Now to find a source, there is a huge list here; www.moparscape.org TOS

And all you do is click on the name of the source you want and it'll take you to the site to download the source, then just follow the instructions it gives you, (ie:"Type UYT in the box to begin download.)
And that's all for finding a source.

3.Make a Hamachi Network by just selecting the triangle in the hamachi menu and select create new network, and just put a network name and a password in the boxes, and you're done with that.

4.Round up a bunch of people by advertising your in other hamachi networks or in different forums, and be sure to tell them the no-ip address you use, and then just run the server using the compiler, if it has a run server option... If not there should be a MS-DOS file named server or runserver.

how do i configure the server?

Configure as in edit, or as in save all of it to make it work? And those who are confused, to run your server, just select runserver.bat, or... You can run it from the compiler, depending on how it was designed.. As for playing, once it's up and running, just run your private server client, enter your usern'ame and password, and just don't touch the IP since you're connecting to your own computer.

i only looked at this tut to see the server u use, really need a good 1. And you got loads. TY. PM me anytime u like.

If It's Just My PC, The Client Is Big, White And To The Right Of My Screen With A Red 'X' At The Top Left. Same With Anyone Else?

He is saying, download no -ip and do all the stuff except mail options, after that go to moparscape and download a server. Edit it and after you are done doing that you can run it and see if it is ok :)
