Possible new client

As you all know, PyePT is one of the best PT private servers around.

So naturally, they have one of the best clients also, it has dc 4 bugs fixed and the text is not all crazy messed up.

Unfortunately, they use a different encryption on their servers so that you cant steal their client.

I have managed to change the port on it from 10001 to 10009. The problem is I just don't know enough to actually go ahead and change the encryption, if anyone knows how please try to do it. I have attached the exe in my post.

P.S. I am not affiliated at all with PyePT and I hope that they do not get too mad xD

MyDragon, ty for everything you did for pyept and I'm sure that all the releases are quite good.

Anyway, from when I packet logged, i saw the encryption was different from the mainstream pt server exes, so all we have to do is either change the encryption on this one back to the regular kpt encryption OR change the encryption on the server to the client's.

I am not too experienced in debugging to know what I'm doing but i'll still try :)

i seem to conn fine. what exactly are u guys looking for. everything looked normal except for the rPT item codes werent there.

You can connect and not dc? And clans load fine?

Before I forget to mention it, this is not the latest release, there's a bug in this one.

It's the number that comes after memory function error

Can you re-upload it burning? I tried from first post and got unable to connect.

I hexed it to port 10009 so you should be able to connect. It maybe because you're not connecting to the right ip luis

I need to know if this release is stable before I update the RFT!?!

This is not a public release; someone just uploaded our server exe and posted it here. Not recommended to update the RFT. :P

I still can't get it to connect without dc on startup, as a matter of fact it's like it doesnt even connect to the gameserver, level 1, 1000 hp etc >_<

Of course, I understand
I know it's the encryption that needs to be changed but I just dont know how :/
