I'm tossing up between whether i should get the 360 elite or the halo 3 Limited Edition, I'm in Australia and the elite hasn't come out yet but the only technical differences that i can see are, Only 20gb Hard Drive and doesn't come with HDMI cable, has the port but not the cable, So I decided to ask what you guys think.

its only limited, and the 360 premiums has now HDMI ports if you care

Halo 3. Why? Looks cooler, it's cheaper, and no need for extras.

I would have to say Halo 3 aswell, the elite is better (bigger HDD) and it does look good, but the Halo 3 one looks pretty good, but even more important... it's something most people don't have, i'm not sure how rare it will be, but the majority won't have one, making you 1 cool dude!
Thanks guys for your input, We were all kind of leaning towards the Halo3 one, So yeah, We will have to wait and see.
Yep woulda gone with the Halo 3 one as well. The extras that the Elite offers aren't really that amazing and worth it (at least not for me). Halo3 is msot likely the better choice.
The premium console is getting HDMI. ^_^

I'm kinda thinking about elite or halo 3 edition as well.
Apparently theres a really good offer from Dell, $500 CAD for Xbox 360 Elite + Halo 3.
Or you can get the Halo 3 Edition $450 (but you still gotta pay extra for Halo 3) so that comes to around $510. Not the mention that you are missing out on the 120 GB harddrive and the HDMI Cable.
But then again, the Halo 3 edition is rumored to have the "falcon" chip installed, which may or may not be your concern. Basically, this chip is supposed to deal with the cooling issues of the 360. Also, this version of Xbox 360 is going to be RARE but not too rare. So may be a few months from now you can sell it for 400 or w/e and get and elite or something.
Someone please help me make a decision before its too late.
I would get the Halo 3 version unless you really want to use that space, like with renting movies from their service, if not then the Halo 3 version just wins on the cool factor.
Too late now... :) Halo 3 is good and all but I'm not a diehard fan of it :)
