Client connect

Sorry, about such lame question. But I couldn't find it in guide, and tryed to find solution via serch but don't know what kind of threads/keywords search. [tryed some, and didn't find the answer :( ].

I installed server for my personal playing via localhost.
I lunched server [had some problems, but fixed it].
And the problem is.... what should I do next?

I mean... how to change client specifications, that he can connect to my server, not to original PT, or other servers i used to play.
And how about GM account? Should I log normally by PT client, or by special launcher?

I'll be glad If someone could answer me that questions.

Ahh...
I Downloaded new client, installed again SQL database, and set up again ODBC.
Checked hotuk, ldata, registry... and still have connection failed.

I think it might be game.exe problem? Tryed various versions from all over forum, but still i have con failed, or game.exe have error and crashes.

Have no idea what could be wrong here? What else check/change?
