Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
First off, I want to say that I am not a newb who gave up after something failed once. I have been at this for day and night, any chance I wasn't working, I have been sitting here in front of my computer bruising my forehead with the computer monitor for a week. I tried checking all the forums, and will throw everything out here at once, so bare with me. First off, babyweb will not establish itself though I think it might have to do with my network hub. Because babyweb uses my local ip instead of my wan ip, and babyweb only works with either 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.102. I gave someone outside my network my ip in case it did work, just not within the network, and it didn't. PT only gets to the login screen complaining about not being able to find a server.
The following is my hotuk.ini:
*MODE SERVER
*SERVER_CODE 0
*GAME_SERVER PTROD 192.168.0.102 192.168.0.102 192.168.0.102

Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
omfg... open your port 10009 man lol
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
Already open, UDP AND TCP.
And STILL nothing. I am telling you, I have tried absolutely everything and do not understand why nothing is happening. Can someone suggest what else it can be so I can do something. I've tried tweaking/messing around with any tiny little variable I thought might have been out of place, but nothing at all.
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
ODBC? How about a different ip soultion. i see u use 127.0.0.1 for ur debugs. Try ur wan. what else. your sql.dll has to be configured correctly as i had that problem. talk to me on msn and i will try to help you out
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
Absolutely nothing is happening. My email is gagecornelius@msn.com I added you but not sure if you got the allow/block message on your side since I have not seen you on.
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
maybe you us wrong clientor, the server its version does not match, I don't know lol its that easy i i do it with myself atm xD at the beginning it was hard
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
yeah also do //*VERSION 3096 and u'll be fine on that part
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
Well, I tried using many client.exe's but they don't work. Only one I'm suspecting has a chance closes because of an Xtrap error of some sort.
Well, it turns out that the SGPT.EXE is the correct file to run, I quickly pasted the original client ID and it replied with "Incorrect password" since I just hit enter, because of XTRAP just closing the application.
Re: Uber trouble with all of this (Non-pc-newb)
It started to work when XTRAP wasn't working and was making it close after a certain amount of time. I finally fixed Xtrap and then it stops working. What is going on here? Is there anything I am doing wrong?

champs is right,,, im no expert ...but delete sql.dll from server root and try .. if it works then your dll aint hexed properly ... should work fine without sql.dll but might have problems with clans... but what the hell move it and try it if it connects then atlest you found your prob.
also get the xtrap remover from forum somewhere..
