You're welcome to use my old guide for setting up a 3.8 server, file hosted by Thunderstrike Online. It has what you need to get a server going, and a basic guide with screenshots on how to set it up.

If you want to run a 4.4 server, download redmoonsvr.rar - FileFront.com
you can use my 3.8 installation guide, just remember on the "ODBC step" that you must use RMBrain0 in replace of RMEBrain0, as this server wasn't setup in English to start with so the 'E' was dropped. This is the only public version I've seen released, it has known issues, some fixes are listed in threads on this forums, some aren't. Known issues include: Can't read mail, uniques don't work properly, poison pills don't work, war system doesn't work, quests don't work.
That's all I've got, if you follow my guide carefully the server should run, if you decide to open it up outside of your network remember to delete some of the default administrators and setup a password, forward your router ports, etc.

for step 5-6 if i dont want anyone to play just me i dont have to do step 6 right?
You'll still need to do all the steps, just in step 4 you'll use your local loopback ip address, 127.0.0.1 so that you can only connect from your own computer.Quote:

3)step 5 it dont work me for......i did all the step of 4 (use cable) replaced the ip in the file (rmserver) to 127.0.0.1 also to info.dll
opened ODBC added sql, placed RMEBrain0
and placed (local) on server ,next. and next 2nd then next >>

iam gonna work on 3.8 before moving to 4.4 , for more experiance
1)when i open the svmapcenter n rvsevermgr and push on server all start , 168 map servers pops out(svmapserver) and here comes another thing pop out (ip server 2 for redmoon 0/0 and ip server 148 for redmoon 0/0 after i push ok for the first one) but it pops out after it says binding socket failure and map server : socket creation failed ,how do i fix it.

2)Iam confused in the Query Analyzer part, when i opened it ,pushed ok ,and there is where i got confused. theres a giant list and query writing thing i dont kno how to use Query Analyzer. I want to make drop rate for uni so do i just place 6,1,10000 thats all? and do i have to click anything on the side of the giant list to make it happen?

3)i want to change the exp rate so theres tons of 8 and 0 when i opened it with notepad (super duper confusing). i just want to make the entire exp rate to 20x or 10x ,or just raising the number of each monter by its number the only way to increase the exp rate?
