Don't wanna use Blender ? .. Problems with Python Script ?
Here you gooooo... OBJ 2 GB will solve your problems
Features:
- Automatical convert 4-side faces to 3-side faces
- Automatical delete not used Vertices
What you need to use it ?
- Like everytime.. Brain..
- A 3D software .. It nvm which ! It only need the ability to export to OBJ
- A OBJ-File with 1 Mesh
- A Texture file ..for you Mesh
How to use ?
- DRAG&DROP is you friend here.. Move the OBJ file over the OBJ2GB
- He will ask for a Mesh-Name .. enter X (mean without ending) .. when the file should be called X.GB (But the filename will be still "OBJFILENAME.obj.gb" .. you will need to rename it)
- Next he will ask for texture name/file.. enter X.PNG .. (means + the ending)
- Next he will ask some material attributes.. what exactly what does .. I don't know -.- .. but when transparent works.. don't set it to 1 .. or you wont see mesh..
Knew Problems:
- Blender to OBJ will resize your mesh
Thats not really a Problem.. but you will need to search the right
size for you mesh.. - GB8 only support FaceListe.. when you get a mesh as FaceStrip ... it wont work
Informations about exporting to OBJ:
- Make sure you export Normals (Blender standard don't export Normals)
- Make sure you export texture coordinates
- More than 4 side faces will make problems ! (in Maya use CleanUp-Mesh.. rest software.. I don't know)

i got a noobish question.. (sry i am new in 3dmoddeling):
if i export the model with blender and try your obj2gb it says "your mesh dont have texture coords - cant finish"
may you tell me how to set up those texture coords?
another question.. i tried same with cinema4d (most of you will know it)
if i export to obj there and use your programm it says your mesh dont have nromals - cant finish..
i checked all cinema4d preferences but dont found any normals.
so my question: what are these normals? is there also another word for it? and how to add those texture cords :S

Normals are for light calculation..
...
Maya do it automatically :P
In Blender I know you need to set it in exporter options..
And in other programs sorry ~.~ no idea
