Port Fowarding

What is port fowarding?

Port Fowarding is a simple thing you do if you have a router to let other people access your runescape server. Its fast and simple, and today ill show you how to do it!

So lets get started!

You will need: A Brain, Your IP Adress, A Keyboard, And A Mouse.

Knowledge: Know How to read,Know How to type,Know How to click and Know how to open files.

Difficulty: 2

Step 1 - Accessing Your Router

This is where you need your IP Adress.
Open your internet and type in your ip adress in the URL Bar. Then it will ask for a username and password. In the username slot, type in : admin
In the password area, write admin or just leave it blank for defult.

Step 2 - Setting a rule

Select "ADVANCE" And click Applications [note: other ones might say applications and gaming] In the name slot, write server or moparscape or runescape server or whatever. It doesnt really matter.
Then in the IP Area, type in your IP Adress.
The starting port is 43594 and the ending port is 43594. For TCP & UCP, select both or any.
Then Enable it. Then save your settings.

Step 3 - Firewall Setting

Click Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall.
Turn it off so people can access your server.
Then click Exeptions > Add Port name it server and the port is 43594. Make 2 and put one as TCP And one as UCP
Save your settings, and your finished!

If you have done all these steps, your port fowarded. Some people like to use No-Ip instead of they're real IP Adress as the server. You can decide But it your using go ip its quite simple.

Using No-Ip DUC

Go HERE and create an account. Login and add host, make a name. [example dannyscape.yourselectionhere.com]Then type in all other information [like ip adress]
Create.Download No-Ip DUC. Check mark it on No-IP Duc. Run your server and other people can access with your no-ip!

Hi When I Type in Admin Then The Password I Gewt On That But When i log in there is no advance anywhere??

I do it like this:

Startup Firefox --> type: 5.33.38.31 (<my ip) --> Can't find the page!

BeMe coz its hamachi ip you need to use you're default gateway
start->run->cmd->type in : ipconfig
you will see your gateway use that in youre browser

You don't type in your IP, you type in the IP in the "gateway" field. Correct this and I'll move it to the knowledge base.

in other words your DNS Server.

Run > type CMD > type ipconfig /all

scroll down and you will find the DNS server = Your Router Connection
