Both are good,
But it all comes down to the games to me, XBOX 360 right now has way more games, but PS3 will soon catch up (Give it about a year or so).
Right now i'll choose the 360 because of the game selections (Plus it brings the HDMI cables if your buying the Elite.)
PS3 I'll buy in later months, probably (I hope) Sony will lower the price for christmas and stuffs, if not i'll wait till more games come out. (Waiting on FFXIII)
