Don't know.., might be able to get a 360 off ebay for a bit cheaper. Just don't know if Halo is worth it. Halo 1 got boring after a while, never played Halo 2. What do you think?

this is going to turn into a ps3 v 360 thread anyway so i mayaswell say it...get a ps3 instead.
to answer your question, ive only played halo 1 but ive seen previews and from what ramuthra told me about the beta it sounds amazing.
Since I don't like the 360 or Halo I'd say no :P Save your money and if you have to buy a console, buy a Wii :)
I really do want a PS3 for the next Kingdom Hearts game. But for some reason, all this Halo 3 talk makes me want to play it.
Edit: Bout the PS3, I'm not about to pay 500-600 dollars for it.
It's called The Outerworld and says you can talk about anything you want to so why moan about what they are talking about GohanSSJ lol.
I think you should do a bit of research on both the Playstation3 and Xbox360, check what games are being released this year and the upcoming years then decide which you one you would like.
Anyway hope you like which ever console you choose.

From what i've heard and seen about Halo 3 it's going to be good, but i have a wii too which is also good. Imo you should wait untill halo is released just incase it isn't as good as you think and if it is, choose from that
Id say find a friend whos getting it and just wait and play it there to make your decision

I agree with Gohan. Best to buy it new and get the 3 year warranty. Buying it used you are taking a risk and you won't have the warranty. With the high failure rate of them who knows if it'll last you for any length of time.
And don't get a game because everyone gets it. If you don't like Halo then don't bother with Halo 3. Also you need to actually play though Halo 1 and Halo 2 before you play Halo 3 as the story wont make much sense.
SO how about playing though the first two and then make up your mind.

Totally the Ps3 it rocks, but amazingly in the game informer or Game pro said that so far the Ps2! yes the ps2 is the best game system out there! if u dont beleve me i'll scan it in to my computer and post it!

Never ever buy a X360 without a warranty, within one year you'll be paying to repair that thing yourself, save yourself the cost and just buy it new. Halo 3 itself is gonna be bloody epic.
