Increasing the XP rate (MaNGOS)
Hi sorry if this has been posted already i did look for it but could not find anything that matched.
OK so i am wondering how to change the XP rate players get for killing a mob
I would like to increase the XP rate so that it it easier to lvl on my server
Not sure if this is possible

hey you shoould try antrix=ascent its very good on latency like about 36-71ms try it out D:

Ascent is mostly overall better with people's opinions... too bad MaNGOS can't make much comeback anymore.

i use mangos i have tried ascent and prefer mangos although i only use wow emu for me and a few other people so i cant comment on having more than 10 people on at any 1 time the stress between mangos and ascent but for a beginner i would suggest mangos

now if you can tell me how much i can apply to it
Example:# XP rates

Rate.XP.Explore = 20 ?
Also do i have to change all 5 rates or can i simply change the default?

Idk if this is good just wondering thou...
Can i try to make the XP rates higher on the public server not by that much thou and still not get cuaght?
And Also where is the XP rates file located in the WOW directory?
If someone could help me with this that would be great:cool:

That depend on your connection speed.
And by the way mangos + SD2 is the most epic core you can get, its so bug less that it just like beam every othe core down ;)
Ascent is not even being scripting on anymore (i think so), there are only some people who update it for last patch and that mean all bugs like quest and mobs will stay all time :-P
Arcemu, its a cool project but ascent and arcemu is based on hosting and low ping, mangos is based on bug fixes and to be stable, arcemu and ascent is bases to hold as meny players as possable with low ping.
And they are allso based on good gm commands and stuff, but they forgot 1 thing, game play. Thats the most important thing ;)

Is there a way to increase the xp rate on a specific quest/quests? So as to not make it too easy ya know!:thumbup:
