22 year old guy having sex with a 16 year old girl

Hi. Long time reader, first time poster. I found this in a fitness forum. A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? Okay? Just because a girl has sex with a 22 year old man, doesn't make the man look bad. I know a friend of mine, who is 23, and had sex with a 16 year old, but she lied about her age, and gave him consent to have sex, but her parents found out and changed him with statutory rape, and could have gone to prison for many years if the girl didn't come clean. Yes, it may sound sickening to hear a near-grown man have sexual relations with teen age girls, but girls these days do look older than they really do appear. Just need to look at it from both sides.

It's completely legal here and I know a lot of girls that were my age (when I was 14~16) that were going out with 20+ year old guys...

Since, you can get "off" at about, uh, 13ish... depending on when you hit puberty.
