Hi, i know my post count an stuffs really low lol but i'v been a member here for a long time an finally got my WoW server going smooth. I was wonndering how do i get my GM char. an how do i summon item's an such? i'm using Ascent rev 1595 out of Hatched's guide....please help me if you dont mind. i'm totally new to all the commands so yea..:eek:

if you wanna spawn an item in ascent, you'll need to figure out its item id first.
Lets have an example. I want to spawn a red apple. First i type ".lookup red apple" and press enter. I should get a result that looks like this -

Now, if look look in the picture, you should see it says:
Starting search of item 'red apple'...
Item 4536:Shiny
Item 18003:Shiny
Search completed in 0 ms.
So, you'll see that you have searched for red apple. And the server says it found two items. aka "shiny". Generally, you will find your result will not include the keywords you searched, thats why the server says "shiny" not "shiny red apple". Now to actually spawn the item, we press F1 to select ourself, then we type ".additem 4536" or ".additem 18003". This will tell the server to spawn item "4536" into our backpack.

We should now have a shiny red apple in our backpack!
Generally what we do is replace "red apple" in ".lookup red apple" with what we actually want to lookup, and we replace the "4536" in ".additem 4536" with the item id of the item you just looked up. I hope that made sense! :poster_ss
