I'm at home now, but I'm pretty sure anything with the word "proxy" in the url, will be blocked. As I said in my topic.
Re: Schools Security (Web)
Right click at a website, click "view source" hit ctrl+a delete everything. Then type this:
Taskkill /F /IM websense.exe (or whatever the process name is) /T Then save as something.bat
Re: Schools Security (Web)
Screw DNS that's how it works.
Just delete yoru DNS settings and go directly to the IP address.
That always worked for me.

our school went as far as installing VNC on every computer ffs. its real annoying to be working on some assignment then have some random person lag out your computer by getting on vnc to check what you're doing.
Re: Schools Security (Web)
Lol we use novel lat skewl its gay but we just compile a list of proxys use things like xroxy.info or a84.info cause proxys are ur best bet imo
Also i have aU3 Flash drive that has loads of goodies like opera and winrar and a thing that does remote connect bak to my comp ;) good idea to pick somthing like that up $20.00 here and its really useful
Re: Schools Security (Web)
Use proxies containing https not http.
Re: Schools Security (Web)
oru school just uses cameras that aren't monitored during the day, and uses the districts blocker ffs, is it really necissary to watch all of us other than have them on during the night?!
Re: Schools Security (Web)
At our school people play LAN games of CS (1.6) all day, and nobody cares.
Re: Schools Security (Web)
Web Sense works by blocking all sites and allow only accepted sites, does it?

no, it blocks out categories. for instance, if "Entertainment" is a category a website is in, it wont let you on it.
Re: Schools Security (Web)
SSH Tunnel through to your home PC.

You can't, it's restricted to try it. You can't even go into "Internet Options" in IE.

Just thought I'd ask, bored in VB right now.
Use the internal proxy , that is setup allready in their IE ?

You can't. I said in my topic it restricts all programs from accessing the internet or a connection unless they allow it. And IE is the only one. So it does not work.
