Has anyone downloaded the crysis beta? ive got myself a beta key but every time i try downloading the fecking file it crashes. Got to 96% last time from fileplanet and then it crashed.
Ive tried looking for torrents and all sorts of places for alternative download place.... cant find one anywhere!
Is the beta any good?
Yo. Have you tried to download it from Gamershell? Its in 7 parts.
Also i would just like to ask because this has been bugging me for AGES but will this computer run Crysis at all?

I've watched thousands of gameplay videos and i've not seen 1 that has disappointed me. Another thing is, when a human hits a car doesn't the wind screen usually smash or crack? All the games like GTA and Farcry and so on i've not seen that yet.

Better save yourself the disappointment.
The game is amazing but the performance sucks ass in the mp beta.
Altough the multiplayer part of a game is always more demanding then the singleplayer.

8800gts 640mb
And I got like 40 fps on 1024x768 and medium settings.
ok in which case im screwed :P
They havent fully optimised the beta apparently anyway. Cant even get dx10 support with it yet.
Allot of people have been saying that when the full version comes out expact twice the framerate than the beta has to offer.
means i just gotta get the same gfx card with more mb? or will have to get ur version?Quote:

Your gfx card will prolly run just the same as mine. The extra ram only really helps with loading textures and keeping them in the buffer for later on... everything else will be the same tho.
