[PC] Tiberium Wars, Supreme Commander, World in Conflict...
Which games is better?
I need your opinion guys..
1. World in Conflict
2. Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars
3. Supreme Commander
4. Age of Empires 3
If you have anymore games that are war games. Please do post it here! :D
I'm downloading Supreme Commander from torrent now. I think its a really good game. From the vids on youtube I saw, its awesome. I tried Tiberium Wars myself. Its crappy!
World in Conflict looks cool too in youtube.
Age of Empires could sometime be bored. :/

Great! What is it like? Its like those war games that you could build buildings and train soldiers and go for war?

Re: Tiberium Wars, Supreme Commander, World in Conflict...
I dont know, its a tough round up, its either Age Of Empires 3, or Command and Conquer.
too hard to choose.

Both WiC and SupCom are amazing games. I didn't like CnC3 and have yet to get around to installing AoE3.
Some other good current RTS games are Company of Heroes and Star Wars Empire at War.

Imo the 2D C&C were so much better than these new 3D ones. Generals was total shit, TW was ok but had nothing on the original tib sun imo. Red alert 2 will always be my offline game of choice, so much replayability and moding.

Hehe, the classics always are the best tho.
I own AOE3 also, it was cool for a few weeks and then slowly died to having a LAN battle every so many months.

I loved the isometric C&Cs as well, guess it comes from growing up with Dune 2. Any of you remember -funpark?

Re: [PC] Tiberium Wars, Supreme Commander, World in Conflict...
You know something, I have SupCom but I totally do not understand about the resources part. They have like cable links to building from power plant or something. I don't know how that works. :/
Anyone has any guide to play SupCom? Please provide :D Thanks!

1: supreme commander
2: world in conflict
3: c&c
4: that other crap game that i played for 5 minutes before it started to hurt me and my computer (it was abusively bad... imo).
Am playing world in conflict at the moment and it really is a quality game! It hasent beaten supreme commander tho. That game is just so good its crazy :D. Cant wait for the expansion!

The resources are really easy to work out... but hard to master in sup-com. First off, i normally always set my resource view to % rather than the + or - thats set as default (to change just click on the resource number at the top). The power lines your talking about are when you build them right next to other buildings (like the ground factory etc). They give the buildings that they are next to a power bonus which reduces the amount of power needed to build things from that building (or in the case of a shield, it lowers the amount of power to run it).
The idea is to always keep your mass and power in the plus (or at 100% at all times). That having been said tho... dont go too far into the plus all the time or your gonna be waisting resources. Just try to keep it balanced. It's fine to be a little under every now n then. Just try not to get it down into the red (the numbers go red). If your running at 15% or lower then it means its gonna take much longer to get anything built.
You can upgrade mass extractors as well...... bleh... u must get the idea by now :)

If anyone's played Total Annihilation before, the resource system of Supreme Commander is easy to work with, as it's the exact same one.
