[360] Is there any system link for xbox 360?

i know there's this system link for the old xbox but is there system link for the new one?

pardon my ignorance ive been gaming on PC for a long time :D might be getting one to play halo soon.

Yes there is System Link

It's the same was as the old xbox. It's done via ethernet cables and a switch.

No. You will need to either make or buy a "cross-over cable" in order to hook two devices directly.

There are 2 types of cables. Cross-over and patch. You need to make sure you get the right one.

Patch is the normal stuff and you are required to run a device to a hub/switch/router before it can go to the next device.

Cross-over allows you to go directly to the same device.

And make sure you don't use the wrong cable. Otherwise it wont work.

isnt there also a wireless thing?

I don't think theres any wireless connection for system link. Just get an ethernet cable and hook em up together.

Wireless works just like how wired works. Though without the wires.

You just need the adapter and the switch.
