I'm sick of guides and help threads, what you running your server with?

that's right, what are you running on your server?

I'm currently running:

Ascent 1662
NCDB 0.2
xampp: krillins, phpbb, ventrilo status

just recently updated to this since I moved it to a new computer, and I was previously running on ascent 1220 and ncdb 0.1. I'm currently working out the kinks in this update right now. I tried to add the new revision, but for some reason it wouldn't let me through sqlyog.

thought about this since I've been stressing over getting mine reconfigured and running before my trip in a few days, so I decided this'd be a good way to calm down and see what other hosts are doing.

Working on Ascent Rev1930 and NCDB Rev554. MySQL 5.01 with SQLyog/Navicat.

for the rev 554, is that full, or does it need to be added to 0.2? couldn't figure that out. nice setup

for some reason rev554 doesn't wanna go any further than 1033 without giving me an error, and for some reason it's creating a completely new database(ncdb). oh well...something'll get figured out later.

My server runs on ascent 1756 with NCDB 554. Quite a good couple.

anyone ever try any of the other databases listed in the sticky? they any good?

I've used all the Project Silvermoon and OBDB databases. OBDB is getting out of date though =(

that sucks.
I started out with terranet 8, but now they're finished.

haven't had a chance to try silvermoon or OBDB...I actually haven't heard of OBDB till just recently.

But I'm confused because the Project Silvermoon website has been down for almost a week.. O.o

svn's really easy with tortious(make a folder, right click and hit svn check, type the svn address in and let it run)

Im currently running Mangos 4577 with PSDB Rev 18k, SQL 5.0 and SQLyog... tried UDB but crashes too often for me while PSDB will only crash every 2-4 hours. PSDB does have a few bugs like can't feed pets and a few quest ones that need you to skip or have gm create the items you need... but its stable.

Anyone have any experience running a stable build of ascent or mangos on a Win 2k setup?

every 2-4 hours, that must suck. my previous setup I had running for at least a couple days before it would crash and restart. it could also have something to do with traffic/how many people are on the server.

as for 2k, I wont touch it, even though it's more stable than ME...so I can't help you there.

Right now i working with a MaNGOS 4621 with a Silvermoon rev 18 database.
I think this is my 15-17 server I have made:D

My older MaNGOS 2.1.3 server had a uptime on 10-20 hours with 100-200 players online, so I hope this one will be stabil to.
