Making a subserver[1.00.16, based on Luciano's files]

As said in the title the guide will be based on luciano's files but will work on other files also with some modifications.

Lets start with the main files editing.

I.

1. Open data/mapserverinfo.dat. Edit it exactly as below just change your IP

Open data/IpList.dat and write the following:

2.Open gameserver_cs\gameserver_cs.ini. Edit the server code to 2

That's all with the main files that you already have!

II.

Now create a folder on the same drive or drive C named "subserver".

1. Make a copy of gameserver folder and paste it in the "subserver folder". So we have X:\subserver\GameServer

- Modify the server code to 1 and the GS_UDP_Port into 60005 in X:\Subserver\gameserver\gameserver.ini

2. Make a folder named "bin", so it will be X:\Subserver\bin. In the bin folder add ds1.exe and ds1.ini.

- Rename the ds1.exe and ds1.ini into ds3.exe and ds3.ini
- Open ds3.ini and edit the port to 55964

3. Make a copy of the data folder and put it in the subserver folder. So it will be X:\Subserver\Data.

- Here you can config your subserver the way you want

4. Create a folder named links and add "01- Dataserver 0" and "09- GameServer" from the main files links folder.

- Edit them as the following:
Right Click> Properties> Target > X:\subserver\bin\ds3.exe 55964 3 | Start In> X:\subserver\bin
Right Click> Properties> Target > X:\subserver\gameserver\gameserver.exe 127.0.0.1 55970 127.0.0.1 55964 55905 | Start In> X:\subserver\GameServer

III.

Modify the connect server lines as the following(i use WEBZEN CS):

yourIP = your GLOBAL IP



After your done run all the server links and the subserver links

you use luciano's files? if so its strange because i dont get that.. anyways look here in the guides section, Disconnect made a guide how to fix gameserver already running

I want to add 1 thing. You must greate Log folder in X:\subserver\

X:\subserver\Log

For me server don"t run without it

i can only make 1 subserver. than when i try to make my 3rd server (2nd subserver) it says

mine does, it creates the folder automaticaly :)

@Sartigan, read my first post carefully again - i specified how to fix that

I get failed to authorize user when logging it shows on my gs, anyway have any idea?

O.o, no idea, haven't had that problem ... :|

If iam trying to start subserver gameserver it gives me this error: Cannot find M:\ Drive

Anybode have idea why?

My folder for subserver is: D:\Subserver\Gameserver\
Also i have right target in link.

EDIT: I solved this problem.

Did everything .
When i go ingame i click on the subserver and i DC .
