need help also =X
All IP's should be 127.0.0.1
and on registry at
dbnameDBIP it's 127.0.0.1 too
mine is working 100% after it
This SQL.dll allows you to specify your SQL path. It was one of the few that actually worked for me--

Thanks :PPPPPPPPPPP :drinks_dr
One doubts, I place ServerName of the SQL or the IP
tetris shy64 -> GAMESERVER\SQLEXPRESS <- or IP? o.O
Try keeping it as SQL. So just replace GAMESERVER with what your SQL is called.
and in sql.reg in DbIP I place ServerName or IP?
where I will go to use 127.0.0.1 as nicktte spoke, in the SQL.reg and/or the SQL configuration to manager.
SERVER\SQLEXPRESS. But try 127.0.0.1 if that doesn't work.
I use SOD2RecBySandurr and in the SQL.dll you as SOD2Record%s%02d, I need to edit for SOD2RecBySandurr?
Sorry, I don't know about that part.
i dont think i ever did.

SQL.dll -> RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
what he can be, I made something wrong?
help me plz ^^
sry my bad English
I'm a tired drunken idiot right now, but I will try to explain this in the best, less confusing way possible.
SQL.dll is not required but reccomended to take over the use of using ODBC.
Problem with SQL.dll is that is doesn't recognize the connection to the data server instance.
In order to fix this you must specify your computers server name\ SQL instance name... hence SERVERNAME\SQLINSTANCE... for example, mine is GAMESERVER\SQLEXPRESS.
Yours might be BOB\PTDB or something like that. Pretty much just change the hex text values in the SQL.dll to that of your server. Make sure your server allows connections through named pipes using the MSSQL client utility. If not then try using the data source as 127.0.0.1;1433\SQLEXPRESS or whatever ip;port\instance your server is set to.
Well, How does this DLL works? It's:
1-The Client Request a connection
2-The server call the SQL.dll with the person ID,etc,etc
3-The Server reads all IP's that is in SQL.DLL and make a local connection to the SQL Server
4-The Server Requests the DATA that the client needs
5-The server send the DATA received to the client
It's correct?If not please ask Where Is my mistake and what is wrong(the number)
-.-
Use this SQL.reg, in SODDB and SOD2DB it leaves the 2 as its SOD2DB in SQL.reg
it edits its SQL.dll, it uses of sandurr 2,0, edits the IP for 127.0.0.1, to dbuser and dbpass and Databases, it uses source with /SQLEXPRESS (MMSQL)
It does not use no OBDC!!!!!!!!
open your SQL configuration manager, add TCP/IP
add for IP3 127.0.0.1 and selects "YES" in the remain
all the IP places dynamic for = 445 TCP Port = 1118
it only uses dynamic port 1433 and TCP port leaves blankin the IPAll
as this below
IPAll = Dynamic posrt: 1433
TCP Posrt: 0
thx :} sry for my bad english ;D
BR: GALERA NAO USE OBDC NENHUM, NO SQL.DLL EDITE OS DBPASS E DBUSER PARA O QUE VOCE CONECTA NO SQL, USE O SA RENOMEADO PARA SEU USER, POIS ELE TEM TODAS AS PERMISSOES =D
USE O SQL.REG QUE ESTA ALI EM CIMA, E EM SODDB E SOD2DB DEIXE COMO SEU SOD2DB
A PARTE DOS IP NO SQL CONFIGURATION MANAGER HABILITE "YES" PARA TODOS OS IPS, NO IP3 USE COMO 127.0.0.1 E NO IPALL TAMBEM USE 127.0.0.1 E COM DYNAMIC PORT = 1433 E O TCP PORT DEIXE EM BRANCO
O RESTANTE DOS IPS MENOS O IPALL DEIXE DYNAMIC PORT = 1118 E TCP PORT = 445
FOI ASSIM QUE EU CONSEGUI MEU SOD FUNFANDO ;D
AHHH LEMBRANDO QUE TEM QUE AS DBS TEM QUE ESTAR CORRETAS COM O SQL.DLL
