Cant create new chr in the id of my server...game comes to still

Hi
I have made a new server refering akaruz n legendary`s guide
The server started , I can login my id even but cant create a new chr
As soon as I type the name of chr game comes to still....(smthing like whn we get dc)

Can ne 1 help me on this problem as i tried searching forums regarding this topic but didnt found ne thing
I am using ara3 client

PLZ INSANE DONT CLOSE THIS THREAD BEFORE I GET NE GUIDE ON MY PROBLEM :P

Check if the account folder has the 100 odd directories...
and do search the forums....

check c drive folders...
create directories from 0 - 999 in ur account n clan folders ( There is a tool to do it )
check ur dbs...

I deleted all files n setup the server again it worked..
Ne ways ty for suggestions but...
whn i made changes in gm.inis the gm id shows message connecting(just connecting nothing else) while i login n after that all normal ids shows the same problem
So i deleted all files again n started the server with normal id...it worked but as soon as i made changes in gm inis(& restarted the server) it started giving same problem
Sadly enough i have to start the server with a normal noob chr

I am using ara3 client 2.02 version ne problem because of it ?????

......PLZ HELP AS I HAVE FOUND SIMILAR PROBLEMS IN FORUMS BUT NONE OF THE SOLUTION WORKED WITH ME......IN ARCHIVES I READ ABOUT GM TOOL STILL FINDING IT IN ALL THREADS...HOPE IT HELPS :P

the connecting problem can be due to the improper connection of ur loginserver with loginagent
check if ur loginserver shows the loginagent,zoneagent & ASD is connected in it

Na I match all the agents with the pic present in the forum of a running server...everything is same
Sad....now i cant login ne id it shows just connecting

just make sure all ur gate-servers (account,zone,battle) show the M_L value greater than 0
after running all gateservers w8 for 10 mins to start the client...
it might help..

all M_L values of all gate servers is above 0(i.e account,zone,battle)
also I w8ed for 20 mins after running all gate servers
but still no change

Is there ne know solution for the problem which shows connecting... while login the game ???........... IF NE PLZ REPLY I TRIED SEARCHING IN FORUMS DIDNT GOT NE THING USEFUL

Problem 1:

If your client is not connecting and freezing at "Connecting" - then do this. Run the client again and check. If you did everything right it should.

Problem 2:

If you're not able to move ahead of the character creation screen - verify these two. Make sure your 7770 tdb.ini is set to Login202 and 8880 and 9990 are set to NEWASD. This is what generally causes this problem. Also make sure you have your 1000 folders created in the account folder.

BUT.....I have problem with my gm chr
I cannot see wat i type (i mean if i chat in general nothing is seen)
ALSO after i type ne gm code in kh it shows @@cheat done !!@@ but nothing is done
I MEAN GM COMMANDS DONT SHOW NE CHANGE IN THE GAME

PLZ HELP AS I AM ALONE IN THE SERVER BUT STILL NOT GOD :P

You're entering the codes in the wrong format. One set of files had this general chat problem. Change them.

Can ne 1 put more light on this info.........I mean where to find the files which is creating general chat problems.......my server is up but gm commands are turning useless( cant use them) because of this problem i think:sad_1:........ sm experts plz help...

it's not because of the general chat problem that you cannot use the gm commands...u are entering the wrong syntax...
i had the files with the said prob. but my gm commands worked..
replace your zoneserver withe raf's zoneserver...it'll work fine for the general chat...
as for gm commands you seriously need to do some searching on the syntaxes....

I thought both problems are inter related...... I ll be alone in server so chat problem does affect me at all ....( ne ways its fixed by changing the server files )
The purpose for of mine to make the server is to play a GM chr.....Seriously i didnt got the solution watever u said for the GM commands.... If u are comfortable can u say me in detail .... Or if i have to search sm wer thn plz guide me...... as this is the only problem left in my server

Also 1 thing I had read that if there is mistake done in GM.ini sm gms dont show gm powers

THE changes I made in 3 gm.inis...ie. in battleserver,mainserver n zoneserver

GMCount=5
GMLevel_0=165
GMName_0=myid
Is this change right.... i made only 1 id & with 5 chr so i gave gm count=5

I tried both the ways...which I found in forums
1 st to make changes in gm.ini then make same id which is written by me in gm.ini
OR....
1 st make id thn chr thn changes in gm.ini
......Both works but gm commands dont work in both ways...

IF I HAD MADE WRONG CHANGES OR NE THING WRONG I HAVE DONE HERE THEN PLZ CORRECT ME....

First of all its GMInfo.ini and not simply GM.ini...

if that doesnt solve your problem then read on :

GMCount is the total no. of GM ids and not the total no. of chars...
rest of the files seem right...

try typing just @ in KH chat...
Do you get @@@CHEAT OK@@@ ?

if yes...then definately your syntaxes are wrong...if you dont get the msg...then again check you have changed the GMInfo in all the places....

Also I Found that in forum its given that GMinfo.inis are found in battleserver,Mainserver,Zoneserver n Accountserver

But in my server files its found in only battle, main n zone
no GMinfo.ini in accountserver
Should i Create 1 Gminfo.ini there ???

kk... I am sorry got exicted that moment so...... mostly i try to read
But.... just clear 1 doubt of mine should i create a gminfo.ini in accontserver folder as there is no default gminfo ini in my accountserver folder n its given in stickes that....Modify the GMInfo.ini files, they can be found in Mainserver, Accountserver, Zoneserver and battleserver folders respectively.
AS my gm chr doesnt exibit gm powers on typing gm commands
