[PC] Hellgate London
Sigh.
Massive disappointment with HGL. For an online game it feels more like Single player. I'd be lucky to get anyone to group up with.
Graphically it's alright, but have a closer look at things and you'll just see how horrid the textures are even on max settings. They're horrible!!
And the customer support is beyond pathetic. For one, EU players are FORCED to make a US account to use the support section, let alone the forums. Even a head admin had the guts to say it was not "feasible" to make a European forum due to the language 'issue'.
Worst yet, EU players are having huge problems with subscribing. E.G. - Charged multiple times, Charged and not having Subscription Status, Charged AND having subscription status BUT having none of the benefits, etc. etc. etc.
This is incredibly ironic how the EU players are being treated, considering to the fact this game is based in London.
This has to be THE worst anticipated gaming releases ever for a lot of people including myself.
This will no doubt damage Flag Ship Studio's reputation, especially to the fact it contained EX-BLIZZARD developers working on it.
This is going to be another Daikana [however that game is spelt], and be the butt of jokes.

Re: [PC] Hellgate London
1) Isn't it a single player game with an online counter part? =P
2) Bad textures? I was a beta tester for it and never noticed bad textures. They in fact looked damn good. Both on high DX9 settings and very high DX10 settings.
NoPeace - out

Re: [PC] Hellgate London
I've not got any problems with the way the game is being handled, you're just another one of the doomsayers that the Hellgate forums are plagued with. Don't like the game? Uninstall it and use the DVD as a coaster.

Re: [PC] Hellgate London
The graphics were patched in the first patch to reduce the resolution until they could deal with a few memory leaks.. then I believe in tthe next upcoming bpatch.. they are releasing a new area (Stonehenge) and revamping the graphics back to what they were.. hence, I believe they fixed the memory problem. Lots of stuff going on, dont stop playing just yet. your only a little bit into its life ;)

Seems a bit of a big rant to me , its not perfect but after a 3 hour playing session i found it contenting , and had no problems with visuals.

Re: [PC] Hellgate London
I like it. Not as amazing as i was expecting but still a damn good game :). Havent had much time on it tho. Call of duty 4 and crysis are eating away at my time at the moment. Apparently UT3 is out as well...... So many games to play and not enough time >.<
