I've tried Krillin's, didn't care for it much, tried ABWoWs, admin panel screwed up for me, can't quite suggest a good one. More need to be made.
i need a ascent website...a more sofisticated one...can annyone help me?
I am still looking for a WOW website portal or something similar to blizzard...
I don't mind making one myself, I have "MySQL, Apache, and PHP."
I wouldn't care if I hade to make it myself.
just need to know how, and what to do...
if someone post a list of what they would like i can build the website :D
There are no truly decent Blizzlike sites out there. Most are too hard to configure for people, some just come very bugged.
also, they take way to much system resources with all the flash, music, and other built in crap you don't need...like paco, i tried em all and didn't like any of them, switched over to more of a manager style site, loads 5 times faster(im not kidding, i checked the load times), easy to configure, uses little of my system.....
IMHO krillins www frontend is the best for ascent so far, if you want mangos, then webwow is the one for you. I agree with gmaze that they take up system resources, so only use them if you have an external host like I do.
They arn't the best, but they do give a snazzy look to your server
There are sites built specifically for Ascent, not MaNGOS, because MaNGOS is SHIT.
I agree Mangos is pretty shitty.
krillins web script portal is way to hard to figure out.
Spora seems to work but thats just a register and join page.
if you are a lil experienced with website krillin's website is easy to install.. also the vbb template is easy. just much work but easy.
