I've posted this on mmowned.com and people are getting it to work fine. Sorry but I've never seen that problem, use Navicat maybe?

OMG!! i just updated to version 2 of Mafias repack. All went fine. Now when anyone joins the server they crash when the toon is entering the world. I did delete the cache.
Anyone havingthis problem..?
I didnt have any probs with repack 1.

BTW. Server is starting and running smooth.

ARGH Help Mafiaboy. What the heck did you do in the Horde mall :-) i just ported there, and a BIG mean Dragon bites my ass off ROFL, and all the npc vendors was running around killing eachother and trying to beat up the dragon :-) :poster_je

well if you updated ascent.conf, logonserver.conf and realms.conf with appropriate information and if you deleted both the old character and world database and restored the databases from mafiaboy's world and character SQL files, it should work..

I see ascent.exe is able to connect to your SQL service so im pretty clueless too now....

well i just dumped this while my server was running, a gm must of spawned a dragon, sorry bout that. Just delete him.

BTW just tested your repack, respect, tyvm for contributing it to us lazy peeps :)

i couldnt run it from scratch tough, had to run a few SQL updates
had to delete a NPC who is hostile to horde members who is located in Stormwind where the ally and horde portal located is

haha very funny with netherspite, onyxia and co. :smile_1:

Hehe its ok. i got the bastard. i did find 2 more dragons and Ragnoros on the other end of the Horde mall running around killing NPC`s. i deleted them, they dont like level 1 from long distance :-)

Nice update btw, i just need to move some of the vendors a little in the horde mall, they stand in one big mess right outside the mall, minor problem :-)

I dont know why all my client crash when they enter the world. World is loading fine, and login is quick and fine, but when they enter the world, they crash and wow error log comes up and wants to send the error. i then reused the Ascent version you used in your first repack, and now the world is runnng ok with the new repack II. I did delete the client cache, but not sure why it crashed with the new Ascent version. i only restored all my accounts i used form the repack I, and all was working nicely there.

At least Burlex and the folks at Ascent Emu aren't slacking, and actually accomplishing things!

i dunno how or why, but this is the thingy thats been causing my ascents not to beable to read creatureloot and pickpocketingloot correctly

im usin the one that was attached with the server now, thx mafiaboy3 ^^

In your ascent.conf. You need to type in the username & password that you use in your Sql DB. Its one of the first things you need to do in it. Its already written for you, you just need to fill in the right name and password. Then give it another shoot.
If you used the guide, the username would proberly be root. Password you know yourself :-)

Hey new here really liked what mafia did, but can u link the guide your talking about in this, I messed up my entire server trying to get this done right, but I guess I will start over so possible to link it?
