Prologue - Hi, I'm Slash, and I own the Stormhammer server, adn the Sonic Firestorm servers. I'm an experienced Java coder, and I'll be teaching you today how to create your own private server!

Chapter 1 - Everything You Need
There are only a few things you will really need to create your server. One is a program called Java Development Kit, or JDK for short. Another, is called WinRAR, which allows you to unzip .rar files. One last thing you will need is called a client, either Moparscape for less sophisticated servers, or Silabscape for more sophisticated servers. Either one is ok, but to play on a Silab server, you NEED a Silab client.

Once you get all of these things downloaded and installed, continue on to:

Chapter 2 - Setting up the Server

This is the most difficult part of this Tutorial, and requires that you do exactly as I say. Now that you have the programs, you will need a source. I will not give you my own, but I will definitely give you my second favorite, Funscap3. You can download it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G0VWILRQ Install it to your desktop as Funscap3. Open the file, and right-click the program called All In One.bat, and click edit. Open it with a program from a list, and select Notepad. Once it opens, delete everything in it, and replace it with:

After, exit this, and double-click All In One.bat, and this should appear after a few seconds in a new window.

This means that the server is now online. Now, you have a choice... Use a Hamachi network... or Port Forward your IP so you don't need Hamachi. Hamachi can be downloaded here: https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp?lang=en

To port forward, you need to find your wireless router's default gateway. To do this, go to START, then RUN, and type in cmd, then press enter/return. A window should come up. type in ipconfig, then press enter, wait for a response. Read until you see "Default Gateway : <your ip>. Open an internet browser, and type in that number in the adress bar. If a window comes up asking for your username and password, visit this site here, and find out your password. http://www.phenoelit-us.org/dpl/dpl.html Once you get it, log into the router and find a port-forwarding guide for your router model at http://portforward.com/routers.htm. Port-forward port number 43594 as a TCP Port to your IP address. To find this, go to cmd again, and type ipconfig again, and it will tell you your IP address.

Now, sign up at www.dyndns.org. Make a host. Enable it for Wildcard, and use the IP that dyndns automatically detected. Save that host, and you should be all set! Open your Moparscape or Silabscape Client, and log in using localhost, or 127.0.0.1, or your dyndns host name. For example, stormhammer.dyndns.org (My server, check it out if you want lol. You need Silab Client.

Congratulations, you now have your own private server!!!

Chapter 3 - Making Mod/Admin Accounts

Making an account a mod or admin is actually very simple. All you need to do is go into the source file, and find "Character" file. Open it, and double click on the text file for the character you wish to edit. Open it, and find the line that says "player rights = 0", and change the 0 to a 1 for a player mod, a 2 for a gold mod, or 3 for an owner. Alternatively, you can log into the game, and type ::givemod <name>, or ::giveadmin <name>, or ::giveowner <name>.

Chapter 4 - Tips and Tricks

You can be an admin on any server you want to. Simply log in as "Admin", with password "root"!

Yea but for Some Reason my Website is More Advance/Newer then The one they have
So it makes it harder yo understand

Note: Hosting server on wireless is not good thing to do, better to use cable.

I have got a problem with my rs private server.(logic)
Oke now the problem:
I am using AquaScape and changed everything to my desires.
but when i where bussy to host it online so other people can get online add it there wash a problem.
I port forwarded my router ( i got an sitecom wl-108 router)
And i where connected with my wireless internet connection (with my WL-113 connector)

But when i wanted to chek it with mine internet ip there existed a problem that didn't work but add local ip 127.0.0.1 it worked om my own pc and also 0.0.0.0 worked but on an other pc i tried it with 127.0.0.1 it didn't work.

I tried it with my internet ip add there also that is(81.204.9.169)
But plz guys can you help!

My server Thingies are IP: 81.204.9.169 and port is 43594
